  i went to the memorial

  it was great.. me and my freinds + brother stood at the back with our dffd freind talking, smiling and laughing at the po.. we then went to the pub, and go drunk.. brill.. josephus

  I managed to show at the memorial.The PO talked about how privileged we were to be there and celebrate the occasion then shortly there after reminded us that we were only there to observe unless you had the heavenly calling so there wasn't a whole lot of celebrating going on.The scriptures they keep quoting about a great crowd only observing don't exist.I have never been a jw but can see the controversy over the matter ,I wound up leaving just as the started passing the emblems around cause I believe you don't hand food and drink to someone under those conditions ,it's ludicrous.

  i know we talked about it when it was playing in the theaters, but i'm too lazy to look up that thread and i think it was in the main forum anyway.

  i just got the dvd and watched half of it.

  if you haven't seen it it's definitely worth renting.

  I rented it just last week ,was very disappointed .It reminded me too much of the bicentenial man with robin williams ,which I hated as well.I hear they may be doing a remake of westworld with arnold swartzenegger.I too must plug the blade runner movie with harrison ford as one of my favorites.

  lets see here :I am an avid sci fi horror fan so I would recomend stephen king THe shining or the stand 2001 a space odessy and if you are into fantasy the Tolkien collection is excellent also the sword of shanarah By Terri brooks who is also one of my favorite reads.If you really want a total experience in the thinking behind religion try the srewtape letters by CS.Lewis very bizarre.

  often, i try to appear as someone else and the result is that i am shy because i have the fear of the judgement of the other people.

  I don't know if that can be called downsizing,here in texas they are always building bigger and nicer facilities so they can accomodate more and more people.How ever as other posters have discussed they seem to have to use the old tactics of the money hustle every month to pay for it.I remember hearing the old people aren't keeping their vows and we are short of money ploy pretty consistantly.

  alward I'm still waiting for you and the rest of the atheist world to prove evolution .Sure we can look at the ancient civilizations and find that people found new and bizzare ways of explaining their very existence through all sorts of outrageous stories about gods, but you can't argue when the bible states things such as the news about jesus would be preached through out the entire inhabited earth and we are living in a world that is proof of that prophesy .Granted that people are divided over the facts and the bible itself has been translated countless times by biased individuals does not prove it is no more substantiated than Esops fables.It's really amazing to me that any writings at all survived the intense persecution from the pagans and the hebrews .Personally I can't find anything about it that is harder to accept compared to the theory of evolution.
