Sara,
I have also learned alot since I began reading & posting here.
So many here can relate, ya know?
Welcome to the board.
so many stories from so many people.
i've read with them all with interest and sympathy, and felt that if i am going to stick around and be a productive member, i should probably tell my own.
i know i am not the only non-jw on this site, and i wanted to offer the perspective of a 'never-was' as to why i am here and participating in the discussions.

that always gets your attention, huh.
ok, i'm watching the "o'reilly factor", they just aired the case of two hs students who engaged in oral sex on a bus in silverlakes maryland while several other students cheered them on and the bus driver did nothing.
the principal of the school system didn't inform the school board until after the local newspaper broke the story and he refuses to say how the students will be punished.
Yeru,
So funny, makin me giggle...

Well,
It certainly isnt very romantic either.
Seriously, we give my daughter a ride to school and she still hates boys but Yikes! I live in a small town and I can almost bet that something like this would be taken very seriously and would most definatly make the front page, had it happend in my community.
Where was mom and dad in all of this?
Gheesh, we should be the ones telling our children NOT to give or receive blow jobs while riding the school bus. Sounds so crazy but the fact is, kids are messing around. We need to be aware and also make them aware, ya know?
some of you may recall him talking about losing 80 lbs in 8 months in this thread:.

i have been doing some research on the condition add/adhd and came across a list of names of people who have this condition.
this runs in my family and only recently have i been diagnosed with this , which was a real eye opener, and if only i had known about this as a child some things would have been more easily understood by my parents.
i have two children with this condition, and for the time being, have decided agaisnt medication for them.
Xenawarrior,
Wow, thank you. Thats interesting, I have heard about some childrens reactions to certain foods but I always thought it was artificial foods, dyes etc.
Awww,
They are SO cute,
even if they are hungover, havin a smoke.
PS, This is not my cat.
Im getting dizzy just lookin at it.
well i called the insurance company today to see if we are covered for hospice on hubby.
they said no!..i almost fainted.
i talked with them a while and asked what would be covered.
Golden girl,
Respite and Hospice are both used to relieve the primary caregiver, but the client doesnt have to be terminal to receive respite care through our agency.
We have a few clients who receive free respite care through our agency in addition to receiving hospice from another. I guess it all depends on your needs and if they are being met by only using one agency.
"Thank you" Aww, you are so welcome hun.
Im not exactly sure where you live and what is available to you. I sure hope you are taken care of and getting all the relief that you need.
.......when the kids kick you're ass at video games.
hmmmmmm.
isp.
Playstation / Nintendo,
LOL, Im not even sure how to turn ours on.
Im still looking for a place to put the quarter!

OMG, Az!
She kissed his bare bum?!?
My son convinced his cousin that she had dead bodies burried under her house and oh God, I could go on, but I think you get the picture.
You know something? In writing, some of my sons shinanagans are actually pretty funny.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for posting this.
My 5 year old son is hyper and has never been able to sit still. He is also very impulsive and fearless. He seems to be in trouble constantly at school and has been in the principals office so many times, I have lost count. The most recent was when I had found out he was in a fight with another boy. I walked down to the office, expecting to see another small child sitting with him. I open the door only to find a huge fouth grade boy slumped in the chair next to my son who was yelling at the top of his lungs how this boy was "LYING!!!" and so on...
During the first couple weeks of school my son had also pulled a boys pants down on a dare during a football tackle, showed a girl his spiderman undies and pushed another child out of his chair because he was blowing bubbles in his milk.
I can only imagine what the teachers were thinking and I feel so bad for him, not being able to control himself.
He is totally fearless and will say anything to anyone! I cant imagine where he gets it from.
Seriously though,
My son excels in physical activities. He can out walk, run or jump anyone. As long as we provide him with an outlet for his energy, we are all fine. If not? Look out! Trouble!
We have held off introducing any meds to him. We thought we would get some of his teachers evaluations in first. Sometimes I wonder though, is it the children who need the medication or is it the adults who cant seem to handle them? I must admit, I love my son, but after spending an entire day with him, I have often thought of taking a mild sedative.
