  what does the watchtower teach that is right.

  so you dont have to say it.

  could you please bear with me for a second here.. this organisation cant be all bad even though overall it is.. .

  most of you may reluctantly hold the opinion that every thing the watchtower currently teaches isnt all bad so could you please give your honest opinions as to what you think is good about the org.. so what is there that can be said about it and its teachings that is good.. especially about prophecy.

  Most religions have doctrines that could be debated.
  Whats scary is that one particular W.T.S doctrine could be the death of you.

  Micheal the ArcAngel/Jesus the man

  i understand that a lot believe that micheal and jesus are one in the same some believe that jehovah and jesus are one in the same some believe that one is the son of god yadda yadda yadda.. would some of you please address or post your reasons for believing that micheal the arc angel was not gods first creation and why he couldn't be the one sent to us to be born as a man and become our savyor?

  why would he not have another name fitting his role as a man on earth?

  he obviously wouldn't be living on earth as a child growing up as an angel.

  Not to make this a bible study or anything but this is the kind of stuff that blew my mind when I was finding out the truth about the Org. Its actually very interesting!
  I do not believe Jesus is Michael.
  The proof is in the bible.
  Michael did not have the power to rebuke evil, that is why in
  Jude verse 9, Michael called upon God to rebuke the devil because he couldnt.
  Jesus did have the power to rebuke.
  Read, Mark 1:25 and Matthew 17:18.
  Michael clearly states that he does not have the power to rebuke and Jesus clearly does.
  Another plus if you believe in the trinity. I still have issues with the trinity doctrine since I grew up believing that it was a lie. Michael calls upon God to rebuke but Jesus doesnt have to. Could the trinity be true?
  Somthing to think about, It has been on my mind for awhile.

  We do not need to fear or take seriously the W.T.S teachings, or people speaking in behalf of the society.
  They are not from God.
  (W.T.S New World Translation) Deuteronomy 18:22 reads,
  "When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. With presumptuousness the prophet spoke it. You need NOT fear him".

  That was one of the first books I read when I started looking for information. If you cant order online and have it shipped to your house for whatever reason, you can go to almost any bookstore. I went to B-Dalton at the mall and asked for a list of books avalible on J.W.s. I freaked when I saw how long the list was! Anyway, they can order it and you can pick it up from there when it comes in. You dont have to leave your phone #, just tell them you will stop in occasionaly to check on the arrival.

  I feel pretty strongly about this issue, since my grandfather died while refusing a blood transfusion. I wonder how my J.W. family will respond when the society finally permits blood transfusions. Im sure it is inevitable with all this information that is avalible. Maybe when the current governing body members die off and they get some younger more savvy members to find some way to smooth things over and permit blood, without losing members. Should be interesting.
  Thanks for the addl. info. It should keep us busy for awhile!
  It seems every day I learn somthing more disturbing. I can honestly say though, Im not as shocked anymore.
