  my dream last night....

  i had the weirdist yet very good dream last night.

  i do not want to forget it, so i thought i would record it here.

  in my dream i was going to a follow up play of the vagina monologues.

  I would love to be able to interpret dreams.
  I believe they could mean somthing.
  After all, didnt God also speak through dreams?

  Having a troubled childhood, I didnt graduate with my class.
  I always had dreams of not being able to find my class and being late, not finding my locker, not knowing my class schedule etc.
  Sounds dumb but they were very stressful dreams.
  After I completed high school, the dreams stopped.

  I always dream of my dead J.W.grandparents.
  In my dreams they are together, happy and content.
  I have no idea what it means. It may just be wishful thinking. I would love to believe they were trying to tell me somthing. Ya' know like they are o.k. etc.

  The collapse of the WBTS? - I don't think so.

  do we apostates fall into the same trap as jehovahs witnesses when it comes to blinding ourselves to the truth?.

  how often have i confronted jws with overwhelming evidence that the so called signs of the times are simply not being fulfilled in our day only for them to bring up some barely relevant snippet of information, which, to them, shoots my argument down in flames?

  it is incredible how jws can ignore the camel of evidence that contradicts what they believe and then exult over the gnat of evidence that supports their view.

  I personally dont expect the W.T.S to collapse any time soon.
  My current hope is that W.T.S stops enforcing doctrines that are causing death or breaking up families, such as the blood doctrine or disfellowshipment and the shunning policy etc.
  Through the years, the W.T.S. has repeatedly changed their views on many teachings so I think this is a realistic expectation.

  A two-petal flower

  i got a note from my sons daycare the other day saying that for their spring project we need to bring in 'family flowers'.

  basically they want us to make a flower shaped collage of family photos which they are going to display in the classroom.

  each petal should have a picture of a different family member.

  Isnt it sad how this can effect the children?
  I agree with the other posters.
  Let him choose the pictures or use multiple pictures taken during different stages in your lives.

  dear post reader,.

  about nine months ago, while surfing through different jw web sites, i came across a reference to an e-mail that was sent to the poster.. the e-mail basically said that with the way that things are going with the society, i.e., so many " waking up", and not being so easy to mislead and control., that there very likely will be a "big" announcement regarding the order to kill the "apostates" and the "wicked people".. the source said that it would go something like this:.

  there would be talks, and some wordings in the magazines, alluding to an upcoming announcement.

  by "religious experience" i mean a moment, an incident, where you felt that god was directly addressing you thru a public talk, a watchtower article.

  did god give you a "sign" that convicted you of the truth of "the truth"?.

  my mother told me about one she had.

  I never thought of it that way.
  That is quite surperstitious of J.W.s to be that obsessed about demons living and traveling through material posessions.
  My family also dwells on that. I remember hearing about a brother who was supposedly given a suitcoat from a worldly man and he suddenly began hearing voices in his home as a result. He packed the suit away for the winter in the basement. One evening he went to the basement to grab something when he saw images and faces floating in the air.
  
  I have no idea if this was just a rumor floating around the congregations or what but it sure freaked me out.
  What a frightening thing to tell a child, ya' know?
  I never wanted to go to another garage sale with my mother again!

  I actually had to cut it short, I was getting too caught up.
  It was a major turning point in my life.
  I know what you mean.
  Kind of like knowing God for the first time.

  Sorry,,
  "Hardened" ya' know, like by life, "Big tough guy".

  I wouldnt keep it a secret if my man posted.
  I see no reason either. I suppose some people could have their own reasons though.
  My husband says he doesnt have enough time to come and chat. I guess its just not his thing.
  My sister is pretty much in the same situation as us. Raised in the Org & doubting but she is a little intimidated to join in here. She posts comments on Freeminds comment page when she has time though.
