  i've read the thread "how many left over the un issue?".

  i know ginosko, he is the elder, a very good friend of mine, i told you about when i wrote the threads about the un and my congregation.

  I dont think so. A little smarter maybe.
  I also carry a heavier load knowing that my J.W. family continues to be manipulated by the org. If I totally expose all that I know, I risk losing my family.

  They Stole My Sign!

  i have a sign in my front yard on a main highway.

  it reads, "no child molesters, www.silentlambs.org".. last night evidently, someone took the sign.

  now i live one mile from the kingdom hall, do you think it could have been jw's?

  I guess it could be possible.

  Hmmmmm,,,,,
  Wheels turning,,,

  Maybe I should go steal that ugly, rusty, junk filled trailor that our neighbor parks behind his house, completely out of his view but in our full view while my family is relaxing on our deck.

  hands up who thought i was going to say "fold it in half" ?.

  actually, i need someone with a paypal account to buy something off my site to test the instant payment notification system i've setup to make sure it emails the order as a file attachment and / or sends the correct url to download from.. if anyone is willing to help me test this then you should email me first and i will send you a link to test.

  after you have bought a test component then i will refund you double the amount to your paypal account (but don't get too excited or quit your day job just yet ... it will only be $1 - $5 .

  My Crazy Mother!

  here i thought i was going to get through the memorial season in peace this year.. how wrong i was!.

  was this supposed to be a memorial invitation?.

  yesterday i got an unexpected phone call from my mom.. i said hi and asked her how she was.. she said not very good.. i told her i was sorry to hear that and that i was concerned about her health problems and asked if she had had any tests done or gotten results.. she said no thats not why she wasnt doing well.. i could tell from the tone of her voice that this wasnt going to be pretty.. she told me that the reason she wasnt doing well is because the memorial was coming up,.

  Ranchette,
  That sounds exactly like a typical get together with my family.
  It always ends with a huge emotional blowup.
  I guess I get through it and continue to stay in touch with them only because I know deep down that it isnt their fault. They honestly believe that I am going to be killed in armageddon. They really feel that they are trying to save my life. Can you imagine what your mother is going through believing that her daughter is going to be tortured and killed by Jehovah. That must be so painful.
  Its so cruel that the W.T.S puts witnesses through this bullsh*t.

  Did U find Sheperding Calls rude?

  reading the lb thread "home but hiding" struck a chord with me.. i remember when i was inactive for the period of about a year the elders made a few "sheperding calls".. did anyone else out there find these very rude and condescending?.

  first of all, in my case at least they always showed up unannounced.

  how much do you think those "hell-ders" would like it if someone randomly dropped by their house unexpected?

  You just brought something to mind that I havent thought of in years. Talk about supressed memories!
  I remember when my mother had a shepherding call when I was about 12 or 13. She was missing meetings because she had issues with anxiety and depression and was trying to switch medications etc. When an elder popped in unexpectedly, not wanting to expose her problem, she ended up blaming me and my older sister for everything. She said that she was having a hard time dealing with us and couldnt attend the meetings because of it. After that happend, I remember going to school and being ignored by a few witness girls in my class. It bugged me because I always hung out with them, went to their houses etc. Needless to say, I was never invited to a sleepover again.

  we all here on this board that are advocates for child welfare keep getting slammed that we are simply jw bashers.

  It is so hard to hear about these types of crimes. You actually feel deep anguish just reading about it.
  I cant imagine what these children or the victims families are experiencing.
  I will never understand how someone could kill their own child. That poor innocent baby being killed by his own mother or father who he trusted so much. It just doesnt seem possible.

  Please let there be a God.

  a doctor had just finished a marathon sex session with one of his patients.

  he was resting afterwards and was feeling a bit guilty because he thought it wasn't really ethical to screw one of his patients.

  however, a little voice in his head said "lots of other doctors have sex with their patients so its not like you're the first...".
