No. I completely agree with what others have wrote so meticulously. This religious sect utterly destroys families and basic human expression. The progressive method of indoctrination embeds learned helplessness and produces a system of bondage so evil that, for the most part, people are powerless to escape. The tentacles are so invasive that even for most of those that have left, it continues to influence their lives extensively. The WT sect is the epitome of satanic manipulation and only serves to keep its adherents in complete darkness.

by sacolton inwould like to see how many have accepted jesus christ as the only way, truth and life..

Absolutely, even though I didn't understand at the time what was happening. The Lord baptized me in the Holy Spirit, placed me in the body of Christ and revealed the Father to me following a time of intense self-examination that resulted in earth shattering repentance.

What is truth?
by ldrnomo indo you remember that question that was asked of jesus by pontious pilate almost 2000 years ago?.

You don't believe what I just said or you wouldn't have posted this thread or responded in the way you did. Simple reality is that you don't have to believe what ANY HUMAN on this earth says when you can personally know the truth in the person of Jesus Christ. It's not a make believe relationship where you talk to open space, it's a personal relationship that's established by simple faith through the power of the Holy Spirit. He spread his arms to embrace humanity 2000 years ago. He's alive today and forevermore and is knocking on the door of each person's heart. But heaven forbid that you should believe what anyone says. Experience truth for yourself, if you dare. Are you 'truly' a truth seeker? Stop looking all around you. Look up and seek with a pure heart and meet Truth for yourself. Then you will wonder no more....AND you will possess the power (the filtering power of the Holy Spirit) to discern truth in others.

The burden of their load (no matter how heavy or light....20 meetings, 1 meeting) falsely leads them to believe God owes them something. Reality is that He doesn't. Nobody will ever work their way to paradise. Our life here's a journey. Christ effectively vanquishes man-made loads. Too bad so few take Him at His word. The 'gap' is already bridged. And He adds no burdens to his gift.

I live in an area that offers dialup or satellite. We were on dialup for years. It was slow and constantly aggravating. I hated it and would periodically call around for better service. Then we learned about the internet cards offered by alltel and att. We bought one and LOVE it. You might see if one would work in your area. BTW, it's wireless and plugs into a laptop USB port. When we travel, it goes with us. It makes surfing the net a snap, even on the highway.

I never quit praying. And when those prayers stopped being about me and simply a seeking the face of God out of a pure heart (something else I had prayed for), that's when it all turned around and He answered my prayers beyond anything I could have imagined. He really is there. Motives are what counts.

Prove That Jehovah's Witnesses Do Not Act As "True Christians"
by minimus inwitnesses pride themselves as being "true christians".
i think they are frauds!
how would you show that, in reality, jws are far removed from real christianity?.

Being Christian is not an act, it's a transformation, an ongoing process aided by the Holy Spirit himself.

Dear Changeling,
Been down that road too. It is, however, a time for you to develop another dimension of life. This time it's about you. Take the time to enjoy things that make you happy. Before you know it your babies will be blessing you with grandbabies. And THAT is a whole other dimension. I LOVE it!

Elders supposed contact DF&DA once every year???!!!???
by Quotes ini was speaking to my mom on the phone yesterday, and despite my trying to avoid it, we got to talking about wacky jw topics -- again.
actually, it was nearly unavoidable, since she had just returned from her summer convention.
aside: nice way to celebrate your wedding anniversary, mom & dad; at an assembly!

Nope, no contact here. I DA'ed in 1996. English speaking congregation must have my house marked. Spanish speaking brothers stopped by one time while in field service. They didn't know us. We had a lively discussion, with them wondering OUTLOUD how I knew so much about their religion (I actually knew more than they did)(they denied only 144,000 going to heaven, with only anointed left being JW's). There were questions they couldn't answer, so they said they'd get the answers and come back. Still waiting.....it's been years now. No visits since then...Spanish congregation must have marked my house now.

This particular little story has been floating around the internet for quite some time. Like everything else relating to the JW's, they have taken it upon themselves to insert the name 'Jehovah' and twist it to their own benefit.
