for those who don't know by background, i was raised in the organization, third generation.
there are many elders, two anointed, a po and many pioneers in my family with all sorts of contact with cos, dos, and people in bethel.
to get to my point... my father just called me.

Next time we go to a bar, I will make sure you get a suprise for sure. You know, one of those that USED to be a man, give you a nice dance!

hi gang..... i havent posted for quite a while but i thought you would like to know that all the tests and brain scans ( not the brain washing kind... already done that ) have revealed that i have fibro my algia,,,,, and not multiple sclerosis like i thought i had .... bo y am i glad those tests came back negative........ .
so as many of you know there is no cure for this disease ,,,, except pain meds and exercise....... its symptoms are fatigue,,, sleeping problems...many sore spots on your neck and legs...... and so everyday i go for a walk at our local mall and it seems to be helping me alot .... i am trying to keep a positive attitude and stay away from meetings and soo---called friends i used to have....... now i have all of you...........one way leads to diamonds ,, one way leads to gold... another way leads toeverything youre told... in your heart you wonder which one of these is true...when you find the answer in you.......so in all your journeys you may travel far ,, pilgrim its along way to find out who you are.,...........

when i first began posting here, about 4 weeks ago, i found that i just could not tear myself away.
since i work at home it was a constant temptation to just sit at computer for a few minutes which invariably stretched in to an hour, 2 hours, 3 hours.
i would break, then come back for more.
When I first found this site, I was on here almost 24/7!!
My first ever chat room was the one here, and I love talking to everyone here, and I have learned alot!
It is one thing to talk with someone during a post or a thread, but it is a whole other to chat with someone online, live, and get their feelings about anything while you talk with them and others all at the same time.
For me, it was eye opening, and awesome to actually "see" and bounce things off those who you see posting here.
I have myself, when I have needed to, stayed in chat or online for over 12hrs at a time. This is a bit much, but when I have, I either needed to or wanted to talk to someone.
What I love, and have never had -- are those who know where I come from, and know why I feel the way I do, not matter what I feel, they understand and DON'T judge me.
Those to me are true friends,
So, I do spend alot of time here, but I would like to give back what I have recieve here, or just be with my friends.

?...well i tried that tonite,i know its not a good thing ,but i felt it was the only way out..well im still here so i didnt do it,thank god,my wrists have lil cuts everywhere tho,i just hope no one sees them..if u guys remember me yall know it has been an ongoing battle with my parents cause i dont wanna be a witness.. now i literally cannot do nothing!

When I was 13-16 I felt much the same as you do now.
Looking back, I am sooooooo glad I didn't go through with it. You have soooo much to live for, and I am glad you didn't go through with it.
You will soon have the freedom you need to live your own life. Please don't let them take that from you.

how could i have allowed myself to be conned into becoming an elder?
and, after becoming an elder, why did it take me 3 years to finally figure out the hypocrisy of the organization?

this is the tale of a young man that had a bright future as a cellist..he was only sixteen and things were looking bright if not for the very one that was supposed to be the head of the household.
we'll call him jack...short for jackass btw.
jack was a violent man, living and conducting himself as an upstanding jw in the eyes of the congregation...he beat his wife, married his 16 year old daughter off to some cretin, mistreated his other daughter, and finally took much aggression out on his sons...well jack did a real good job of beating the hope out of the prodigal one...he gave up playing cello and ran away from home to join the navy during vietnam...the rest of his life was hard and being rather tall, even for a prodigal one, his body got tired after a hard life...congenital lung disease, several bad motorcycle wrecks/suicide attempts imo, he's dying now..on a respirator...to complicate things, his wife of more than 15 years died today of congestive heart failure and complications from open heart surgery....you see, he never went home because there is not one to go back to...his mother died of cancer , jack left his first family and moved on to abuse two others while remaining a jw (not one now as far as i know) and has not been heard from for years.

Although I am not a twin, my sister and I used to look like twins!!
My sister has gained quite a bit of weight due to depression (I hope she doesn't kill me for writing this), but now she is at a point in her life where she is ready to change that about herself FOR herself.
She has a man that loves her for who she is and never thought she could have a meaningful relationship since she was overweight. She has a great personality and loves her son more than anything, but now she is loveing HERSELF, and it has made a HUGE difference in who she is and what she is doing for HERSELF! This man loves her FOR WHO SHE IS!!!!!!!! Once you can love yourself, you CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS!!!!!!!!!! Just believe in YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
