Do You Clearly Understand That "The Truth" Is Nothing But Bullcrap?

sometimes i see persons suggesting that the witness religion isn't all so wrong.
actually they suggest that they themselves are the issue.

Since I was born-in it is really hard to tell what or what not
I would have learned or experienced outside of the religion.
It would be a useless mental exercise at best.
What is indesputable, in my mind, is that
they are a CULT.
By that very definition alone they are wrong.
For me to say any less would be an attempt
to give some type of "Moral Equalivence" to them.
No matter what teachings they teach that are correct,
No matter what sayings they have that are true,
No matter how sincere they may be,
NOTHING can change the harmful and dangerous
aspect of cultism and mind control.
It is in our own self interest to NEVER forget this!!
Selfish it may be but all life has a built in desire
to preserve itself. Cults attempt to destroy that.
If we ever hope to grow and improve ourselves
we must never stop learning and thinking for ourselves.
Pressing our own thoughts and agendas concerning
this or that misses the point of the real danger.
Any person,
political party,
corporation,
philisophy,
religion,
nation or state,
that does such a thing
needs to be condemed for what they are.
Not praised for the fact that "they made the trains run on time".

An attempt at reconciliation.
by AK - Jeff inmy cousin - who was also my best friend for 35 years have been involved in an email exchange in recent weeks.
previous to that he was mostly shunning me.
without getting into details, he had given me room to explain things, especially as to how i have 'changed' as a result of leaving.

Why Can't People Just Show Appreciation For This Place???

this is one of a handful of (ex)jw sites that really helps people get out of the organization.
the interaction that we have here shows anyone how we can leave the so- called "truth" and enjoy life!

I just came from my elder's meeting
by BonaFide injust to review, i had my meeting today with the two elders who say a sister has accused me of "grinding" with her and thus porneia.
so i printed out several of your comments on how to defend myself.
i felt good about standing my ground, and repeating that i had not "grinded" with this ex-friend and that she wants to ruin the relationship i have now with the sister i am dating.. however, the two elders today really tried to pressure me.
