  in genesis 3:7 we are told that adam and eve made the first clothing out of plant material.. (though the scriptures say fig leaves, it could have been similar to grass skirts, and adequate).

  why did "god" find it necessary to kill an animal to clothe them?

  (genesis 3:21 (septaugint) says "leather tunics").

  if the words of genesis 1:28 is correct, could this be considered evidence of a prior population?.

  the watchtower religion is based on abraham, is it not?

  islam, juadism, and christianity is all based on abraham.

  abraham comes from the root word "brahamin" and brahamin is a hindu priest.

  hello.. i landed here because of a magazine i found in lobby and wanted to ask question.

  i am reading some here now.

  i am interested in talking about bible scriptures and i hope it will be ok to do that here because i think a lot of people here are still digging for what is really true.. i want to tell you all some of what i am seeing.

  how jehovah got his name

  yahweh didn't get a name till moses come up with the "i am" thing.. not sure how it made it from i am to yahweh.

  and even crazier from yahwh to jehovah.. but anyway, my question is this: since god didn't have a name until "exodus" and if bible translaters say they are being accurate.... how come the name became retro-active and genesis gives god the name jehovah before he really has a name?.

  how can these translaters call this accurate?.

  genesis 4:7. when god says to cain "sin is crouching at your door".. how did cain know what a door is?

  i thought they lived in caves or lean-to's.. have archeologists found bc hinges?.

  bizarre artwork in watchtower

  hello people.. i found a couple of these magazines in a lobby and was flipping through.

  i thought it was a current issue, but i just now realize it is from july1, 2007.. i am not intesested in anybody coming to my house to give me bible lessons, so i will tell you that upfront.

  it is the weirdest thing i have ever seen in a sunday school book and it makes no sense to me.
