"One of the best ways of enslaving people is to keep them from education. The second way of enslaving people is to suppress the source of information, not only by burning books but by controlling the ways in which ideas are transmitted." - Eleanor Roosevelt, May 11, 1943
This is the Information Age.
Theists often claim that their gods are perfect beings; they describe gods, however, in contradictory and incoherent ways. Numerous characteristics are attributed to their gods, some of which are impossible and some combinations of which are impossible.
As described, it's unlikely or impossible for these gods to exist. Why Christianity and not Judaism? Why Islam and not Hinduism? Why monotheism and not polytheism? Every position has had its defenders, all as ardent as those in other traditions. They can't all be right, but they can all be wrong.
Most people are skeptics, education and the internet are going to eradicate all myths.
Take care,
Ismael
