i'm just curious as the offical govement advice about swine flu is to stay away from public areas if poss and if you have swine flu to stay from everyone full stop!.

but my experiance of jw's is that they would go to the hall wether they were infectious or not.

Dude WT is the altimate humor...

they have strange doctrines of INVISIBLE presence of Jesus, they believe that the end is near(150 years and still going strong) their doctrine changes every 20-30 years, the TRUTH is not actually truth but can change from time to time. Holy Spirit guides them, but the are not inspired, they claim to be a Prophet like Jeremiah, John, (just to name a few) but their prophecies NEVER came true. The people of Gommorah they WILL have resurrection but maybe they WILL NOT.

For that famous generation I left school in the mid 80's and became pioneer. Now I'm paying the conscequences of a false prophecy...

I was telling my friends, classmates, that the world would end very soon, and for sure before the year 2000. My dad wasted his life for this cult, now he is gone and he never seen a WT's prophecy fullfield.

After I left the cult I told my friends that I was wrong and acted as a false prophet

Any how generation is about 25-30 years. When Jesus told that Jerusalim will be destroyed during the time of a generation He was correct. The end of the Jewish system came within 35 years. Can you imagine the impact of Jesus words if 150 years pass by and no end at the horizon?

Is the WTS preparing for a MASS EXODUS?

hobo ken and i were chatting about this yesterday.. the wts has past experience of losing vast numbers of members very quickly.

from their post-25 and post-75 experiences they will know how best to prepare their organisational structure to remain afloat when they experience another exodus.. we're only 5 years from the 100 year anniversary of ct russell walking into the dining room and announcing the gentile times had ended.

since then, millions of people have molded and adjusted their lives and personal expectations based on the date 1914. the wts must know that 2015 is going to bring with it one or two upset jws.... so, is the wts preparing for a mass exodus right now?.

I will agree with your observations. It might not be a Mass Exodus like 25, or 75 but the figures show that many JW's are leaving. The only increase they have is in Third World Countries. There we have uneducated people, limited access to the internet, plus WT's "gospel" catches the poor masses of those countries.

I believe that in the following years the will experience reduce of their peak publishers. It is already happening. They will try to save as more money they can, since we are living in hard times for Cults - INTERNET

I'm now an Orthodox. The name actually is Holy Catholic Orthodox Apostolic Church. I was really amazed by the spiritual wealth of the Orthodox Church, but most of all the Apostolic Succesion for almost 2000 years. I found out the real meaning of Christianity and in the end of day Jesus will save us ALL.

In my mind lately this thought is spinning round and round. Can you find real love in the WT world? I guess you can’t. Everything in the WT is programmed by the leadership of that cult.

There are rules how you should love someone, what are the “Theocratic Standards” for someone who wishes to get married, qualifications for man, woman. Once I recall there was a CO and he “arranged” for 2 young pioneers to get married. At the time I was in my mid 20’s and I was surprised, find it odd how come those 2 persons get married. They had a complete different back round. He hardly finished high school, low profile and has grown up in a Greek village. She was from UK, educated, funny, powerful character. But for the CO they were the perfect couple since they were both PIONEERS.

Even in my case (counting the days that I will leave home) I realize that there is no love in the WT world. The only connection that keeps JW couples together is WT rules, meetings, field service, family “bible study”, reading the magazines Circuit Assemblies, and their life connected only through WT’s activities.

There is no real love, everything is faked, and most of all you cannot find unconditional love. The foundations of a relationship is build only upon WT’s rules, and when one of the part feels that cannot line up with those rules then the inevitable occurs.

While in normal relations are based upon love and understanding, in WT world is build upon rules. Especially when you realize that no matter how you try to save the relation, WT will break it apart with shunning policy and all the aspects that come along with.

And all this trouble and pain are created by a “religion” claiming that follows Jesus and suppose to reflect Christian like qualities. I have seen most of JW’s marriages having really hard times and basically they are together because of the WT.

I guess love shouldn’t be based upon rules, besides love endures all things. I guess is time to leave completely what connected me with the WT and start a new life, a new beginning, looking to find real love…

JW Defenders- Is WTS Right to Insist You Stay Away From these Websites?

i read these threads and there are a few that bend over backwards to say why wts is correct on this issue or that issue.. they act like typical jw's that refuse to acknowledge points that may show that wts is not following the scriptures or that wts goes beyond the scriptures in a way that is not supported by others.. the point could be the blood issue or shunning or whether 1799 or 1914 was the start (or finish?

) of the last days or whether there is a faithful and discreet slave class or not.

i don't want to harp on each point.

In every EX-JW discussion there is always a RENAIA...a faithful JW that no matter what will stand to defend the WT Crap Society. I have seen many Renaias in other forums and also in other languages. They are the ones that complain that we attack them when they defend WT. There is only a HUGE difference between WT and JWN or any other Ex-JW forum.

Here we are using LOGIC and we try to discuss certain matters, either they are doctrinal, believes, or a certain policy of the WT that changed for certain reasons.

Another major thing that JW defenders forget, is that despite the fact that those forums are negative towards WT still they ACCEPT them to post and express their opinion and disagreement. SOMETHING THAT THE WT REFUSES to that in everyone that disagree with them. Not even they don't accept a dialogue, but they SHUT any voice of disagreement...Here Renaia you have a platform to stand and speak, something that the WT refuses for all of us. Here we have DEMOCRACY and everyone has the right to speak and defend their possition

You expecting from us to leave you without any debate to promote WT's agenda. When we point out the mistakes of that cult you complain that we are "opposing you" and you act exactly like WT does. You see WT likes to play a basketball game but does not want any other team in the playground!!! The real reason is they cannot win, they cannot face any other team since they will LOSE. Simple as that.

It is the WT's old publications, old light, old doctrines, and most of all FALSE PROPHECIES. We don't need any other apostate material than that. WT has lied in almost every subject that is why in this forum many ex-jw's have suffer the pain by that Cult.

I was asked to leave house since I couldn't accept WT doctrines anymore. I spend 33 years of my life preaching for a generation that it will not pass and the END will come. I left school in the 80's to become a pioneer because the END was SO CLOSE. My dad spend his fortune for the WT but eventually he died so old and see NONE of WT's prophesy been fulfilled. I stayed uneducated due to WT's promise of the END...many times I'm cleaning toilets, doing hard jobs just to earn peanuts.

My best friend was suffered severe depression and killed her self. WT DESTROYS what it touches. But still you are accusing us for liars!!! Perhaps you should ask those who lost a child due to Organ transplans(1964 was a matter of conscious, 1967 was forbidden, 1981 was ok). Or many other JW's in my country and in many other countries that suffered years in prison due to neutrality issue. WT was refusing alternative solution for many years and now they accept it. Can you tell me WHY did I had to suffer in prison....

Indeed we hate WT and their leadership...but for sure we don't hate you. You are only making it easy for us from your answers and your lack to have dialogue. You are helping us with your attitude those who deside to FREE THEIR MINDS and see how evil is the WT. And believe me they ARE MANY...
