iv) believe that jesus christ is mediator for "the faithful and discreet slave".
today, that "slave" is represented by the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
5. elders.
Truhseeker, great job! Nothing like coming to work on a Saturday morning and enjoying a good read that once again exposes a certain amount of fraudulence in the w/t doctrines. I am certain that 99.99% of publishers could not explain the current understanding on any of the major w/t doctrines let lone the official view of the anointed class.
Thanks again,
Mattieu
i mean all these rules and structures and teachings.......come from some changing guys we dont even know......and ya...these guys change about every year...an so does what they teach......but i dont know a single one of them..........oompa.
yet........damm........i lived over forty years trying to do what they say........never even knew em.......damm i was not lucky from birth......nlfb....
I know someone who knew someone’s Uncle’s cousins sisters friend who met someone who saw a gb during a Bethel tour.
No seriously, my mate came back from a visit to Brooklyn bethel and had photos of one of the gb in the socialising room; they were having some sort of gathering. I will never forget when Franz came to Melbourne back in 88 or 89 I think it was (Royal Melbourne Showgrounds). After the final hour long prayer, the arena grounds filled with the r & f running to the stage as he got off, it took him an hour to leave the arena. It was loony, particularly when one brother came running back yelling “I touched him!” No joke, true story.
But I agree Oompa, they make all these rules, some of which totally screw up people’s lives (blood issue for instance) but when the whole thing goes pear shape, they wipe their hands and introduce “new light” and then have the audacity to say “we never printed or said that”. And when you show them that they did say that, the table is turned on you for being nitpicky/negative and you sound like an apostate!

any new books or brochures or tracts or whatever at this year's conventions?.
1 - Coupon Books with discount gasoline coupons to enable the book study to be reinstated.
2 – “Advertise Advertise Advertise New Light”
3 – “How to win friends and influence people (NGO version)”
4 – “Babylon the Great has fallen and we fell too!”
the official wt stance is that these horsemen began their ride in 1914.. at the time i began my "bible study" with the jw's, i bought into that with all the zeal of an old testament prophet.. however, i submit if those horsemen set out in 1914, they either lost their way and vanished, or the horses ditched their riders and returned to their stables.. what say you?.

Brokeback Mountain has gone apocalyptic
more of the latest from the june 15th " witness only " watchtower.
under the article " the faithful steward and it's governing body " there were some very telling quotes which could indicate how the wt society is tightening the control of it's members - and trying to justify more partaking of the emblems at the memorial since the numbers partaking have gone up from about 8,000 to 10,000 since they no longer feel that the sealing of the anointed ended in 1935.. so first off, notice this quote indicating the importance of elevating the governing body over the rest of the anointed around the earth.
paragraph 16 it states , " are all these anointed ones throughout the earth part of a global network that is somehow involved in revealing new spiritual truths ?
Flipper, I just had confirmed yesterday that a very prominent elder in our city (on every committee and subcommittee and sub sub subcommittee ...) who is used at all the c/ass, d/ass and international’s has outed himself as an anointed at this year’s memorial.
This elder is such a political heavyweight here in Australia, aged about 58, constant trips to Sydney Bethel and even NYC, lots of contacts and allies (and a few enemies). He speaks in the most condescending manner and does the fake smiles from the platform, fake warmth, but I digress...
My point is that I am sure that there are a number of powerbroker brothers like him that will come out of the woodwork and claim to be anointed. This article will prevent them from wanting to take on an even more prominent role perhaps??? More like the GB recognising that yes, the number of partakers is going to increase, but you are not special or powerful, only us GB’s are all powerful (insert mad insane power drunk laugh here).

We have this anointed brother who is about 39 years of age, reg pioneer (anointed the last 6 years) cannot be made an MS due to the fact that he does not have a scriptural divorce (he used to beat the crap out of his ex wife and step kids, got nasty, police involved). The elders love him, yet all the sisters know he is weird and a sleaze and no one and I mean no one will let their kids near him (he keeps offering to babysit other people's kids)
Why, oh why do all the elders and c/o love him??? Yes he kisses butts, though if everyone else can see through the charade, why can’t these supposedly older men??
At the memorial he did the count, so as he crunched on the bread and I mean crunch (you could hear him eating it from the car park) he is walking around the back of the hall doing the count and eating away as if it is a piece of gum!!!! So much for that solemn experience being about reflection...........
Odd, very odd....
anyone here a member?
even though i'm deathly afraid of water, i want to join the polar bear club and jump in some freezing water.
(with flotation device, of course).
How much can a koala bear? Hot showers for me, I will take a raincheck thanks....
the dubs say;.
rank and file "oh okay".
pioneer "how high?".
Can I count the time I spend in Jumping? Where do I record my Jumps on the report slip? Is there a minimum amount of hours I should spend Jumping each month? What about informal jumping? Business Jumping? Car park Jumping? Telephone Jumping? I can’t wait till I have been Jumping for 1 year, then I am off to the Jumping School.....
If I get myself a trampoline with 4 doors, or a 7 seater trampoline, I can really help the b & s in my Congo expand the Jumping work......
All this Jumping just makes me want to lay down, I’m tired of Jumping , but my C/O, Bro Jumping Jack Flash told me that now is not the time to be resting, we are so close to the end, one more Jump and we are almost there......

Hi JB,
The w/t (about 2 years ago I think) had an article stating that if you lived in a country (like me, in Australia) where it is compulsory to vote, if your conscience allows it, you can attend the voting booth and register to show that you have legally attended. Then if you decided to register a vote or abstain, well that is up to you. (Vote 1 Peter Griffin)
In Australia, we get fined for not voting if the Government does not accept your reason to not vote. The past 5 years has seen the Australian government start fining more & more jw's. So despite the w/t article highlighting that you can just go and register that you have been to the voting booth without actually casting a vote, 100% of j/w's here will still take the fine. I showed that article to an elder I was close with once and he said (despite how clear the article was written) that we would still refrain from going to a polling booth so as not to stumble anyone!
Yeah, well my fine is coming out of my congo donations then.....
