I'd take 1,000 if the earliest dated currency still in open circulation (lets say that's the year 2000). Go back to that date and trade it in for the earliest dated currency still in open circulation (lets say that's the year 1980).. I'd do that a dozen times or so and invest that money into AT&T and other "long term investments. Rinse and repeat.. and repeat... and repeat again...

pretty much anything of In Through The Out Door. I was a kid when that album came out. I remember the brown paper wrappers that kept you guessing which album cover you got. I purchased several of them to get the different views.

I met my wife in the late 80's at a "group outing" -- I wasn't really looking, but... there she was. We dated for about 3 months before we got engaged. The dating consisted of sitting in her parents house watching her do all the housework. When she was done, we could sit out front and talk. One time we were invited over to my cousin's house for a "group outing". I picked her up at her house and drove about 2 miles down the street to my cousin's home. We got a stern talking to about that... We were alone on a public street for all of 5 minutes. Dating was a challenge, we spent most of our dates on her parents front yard sitting and talking -- in clear view of "everyone"... I was really nervous going over the (I think) Family Book with her and the elders. It was like we were interviewing for a job...
We have very little in common, but I enjoy her point of view. She is my counterpart.

Faders: What do you say?
by Mad Sweeney inok, i need some advice.
i'm technically inactive, as many of you know, with obvious apostate leanings that via gossip in the congregation has me shunned by most.. recently at work somebody asked me what religion i am.
i was taken aback and instinctively answered, "jehovah's witness," then quickly added "but i'm inactive.

I started wearing liver tied to my forehead and amazingly all the JW's left me alone. Actually I would use the "business tactic" that discussing religous views on company time is grounds for dismissal -- and I really need to keep my job right now. Also when they try to ask me for any time "off the clock", I tell them that I'm are busy doing ... such and such.. very busy... Start discussing work or some generic secular stuff and they tune out pretty quickly.
Good luck dodging the JW bullet :)
