  was watching abc world news and they showed the religions/denominations with most increase and those that are experiencing decreases.. the j.w.

  's was number 1 on increase while most of the larger main stream churches where losing members.. they have already posted a link on the news website...will post it in just a few..

  Are you a fader, Df'd, DA'd, or Still In?

  i thought this would be an interesting poll that would show everyone the backgrounds of all of us when we left, if we have.. for myself, i am not df'd, but i am attempting a fade.

  i still go to some meetings with the wife to help with kids, but that's it.

  no commenting or field service.. what about everyone else?.

  As my name implies... Im a fader. The little Mrs. and I have been fading for about 10 years. I'm only trying to avoid the hard cutting of ties (DA or DF) as not to upset my parents - who are in their mid 70's and have been JW's for 40+ years.

  Just say the US did decide to legislate reduced greenhouse gasses on a wide scale. How effective would this globally given that other countries are "coming into their own" as far as producers of greenhouse gases. What would be the impact on american business and it's ability to compete with the other countries who dont have these regulations in place.

  It seems to me that there really needs to be economic parity between these countries - which includes environmental protections before anyone can "ratchet up" the greenhouse gas concerns.

  Another generation of happy people loving the real life... and making a positive impact on human society. This will slowly erode the R&F to the point that they will downsize into obscurity. It will only be the few calamity howlers hanging on -- holed up in a bumker someplace in rural Pennsylvania..
