Took me a long time to answer that honestly. I thought there was something wrong with me & if I just studied more then I would be able to resolve the contradictions, circular reasonings and other logical fallacies.

Yes but it's alright if the WT Society was associated with the UN as an NGO because they're God's organisation and it was only for a library card and anyone who says different is a lying liar from the land of lies.
Besides, they stoped as soon as anyone found out about it so it couldn't have been wrong.

my question is it harder to be reinstated if you were disfellowshipped while at bethel.
i have someone who i worry about because of fear what he might do?
he has been denied at least twice even though he goes to all meeting and has tried so hard..
I understand that the committee that disfellowshipped you has to consent to your reinstatement, so if he peed off whomever dissed him in Bethel he may have a long wait.

42 months from 1st Oct 1914 gets you to 1st April 1918.

i really think that staying "in" just for family and friends is doing a number on my health.
i am currently in therapy for the mental part of all of this but i am phsyically sick every time i have to get ready to go to the meeting or service.
i get heart palpitations as well.
I felt sickest, if that's a word, while I thought I was a Christian but disagreeing with the GB doctrines.
Now I'm agnostic, I just view the meetings as cultural events I go to to maintain a semblance of a social life / family relationships
the memorial and district convention invitations have a space for each congregtion to put their local information on them.. the congregations then have to foot the bill, many times it is the service overseer personally, for the printing on them.. some print labels and the congregation puts them on, others print with their laser printer and wear them out.. at first the paper was so poor that the particles would destroy laster printers and make a dust storm.
commercial printers hated that paper.. the society should have a variable data printing system since they know the times of the memorial and convention for each congregation and they should print that while they print the initial invitation.. think if it, 12,000 congregations in the usa multipled by $50 on average cost to print or label each congregation's amounts to $600,000.
do that twice a year for 7 years and that is $8.4 million dollars.

There's lots of blank space, and loads of colourful graphics. Some elderly ones in my congregation are not happy.

the cycle continues.... two weeks ago a loving and fragile sister passed away due to her age and chronic health, she only had one son and 2 grandsons.
(she was the only jw in her family)when my wife gave me the sad news we immediately went over to the hospital to give some words of comfort to the grieving family.. .
what happened next was another cruel example of works for salvation vs. good deeds from love.

He just didn't want to go. As an Elduh 'ministering' to the worldly family of a Sister, he could have counted his time at the hospital.
