  Avoiding the Meeting

  so, darth plaugeis (or however you spell it) has suggested that the best way to get out of going to the meeting is to tell your wife that it's time to get ready for the meeting, and when her back is turned hit her over the head with a large object.. i'm sure there are better ways to get out of going.

  i'm looking for some real ideas here.

  " i like the whole getting your wife (or husband) drunk before the meeting so they won't want to go idea.

  grow a set and tell her you aint going, my spouse was told I am not in the school and i have had my fill of sales meetings. so no need for me to be there.

  me: right now, i'm less than 48hrs away from a jc hearing in which i will likely be df'd for apostasy.. .

  tnb: do you feel the wtbts has any power or hold on you, if not why attend a jc.

  you don't have to attend, unless of course you have information you want to point out to them.

  If you are not living at home, than I would make it a point to NEVER speak with your father again, he showed who he is loyal too and its a poublishing company cult, and not god. He is disloyal to you and I wiould let him know about it and then cut him out of your life, but then again I am a bit extreme. But family ties should never be broken especially by the family.

  Don't let them ram rod you at the JC either. They will want to discuss only what they want too and then expect you to comply with their wishes. Do as a friend of ours did, when they insisted on not letting him get his points across he told them to get the effing hell out of his house and don't come back send a letter announce anything about him or he will sue their ass, and if that doesn't work well then there are other methods.

  He hasn't had a visit from any of them for over 5 years now.

  What's the use of prayer?

  all these years (especially during my adolesence) i have been praying to that christian god (jehovah,yhwh,god,him,yahweh,jah,almighty) but he has never answered a single prayer of mine.i have lived up to his standards wholeheartedly and with zeal and he spits me in the face every day.he left me when i encountered hardships or even minor difficulties even though i gave my full pottential to worship him.i got fed up with his lies and mistruths and my patience has abandoned me.now it's time for me to turn my back on him in return..

  All prayer does is give you an opportunity to thnk out loud, as far as praying to some benevolent entity, you should like pray to the porcelian god in your bathroom,at least that one will accept what you spit up or drop off so to say. It won't talk back to you just like God doesn't. Ahd to have have a relationship when it is so one sided, is no relationship at all.

  Society sees talking to oneself as aorm of mental illn ess,sowhat does that tell ya,like you I quit praying some time back as i realized i was just talking to myself and no one was out there answering me, comforting me or anything else.

  When I hear someone say leave it up to Jehovah, it just means screw it to me, that is about the same thing and accomplishes the same thing too.

  Prayer is a christians way of smoking pot. I would be all for it if there was ever a clear cut answer just like the old testament says so got, buttttt hell will have frozen over six or seven times before that happens.

  i for one would love to see the wtbts have to pay taxes, both here and in other countries where they are located. they get away with the charity issue which we all know is nonsense, they don't help anyone but themselves and those they do help are asked to give there insurance payment to the society. Have heard this directly from the horses mouth. RBC member a higgr there.

  got this idea, (yeah i know it don't happen often) while reading another post, but the bible says at acts 10:38 nwt (not with truth translation), "namely, jesus who was from nazareth, how god anointed him with holy-spirit and power, and he went through the land doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil.".

  here and other places, disease, ie.

  seizures, were in fact possessed by demons, that kind of thinking prevades the watchtower society, in that local elders tell those suffering to pray more, meeting more, d to d more.

  Here and other places, disease, ie. seizures, were in fact possessed by demons, that kind of thinking prevades the Watchtower society, in that local elders tell those suffering to pray more, meeting more, d to d more. I am not saying this clearly but, don't they think that spiritual things (ha ha) will in fact heal a person and that this kind of thinking comes from the biblical belief that disease or at least some of it is caused by being possessed by a demon?

  Others thought on this will be very much appreciated, as i am getting younger and don't always think, or even think clearly for that matter.

  It is so true of the dubs, for mental problems, pray, come to more meetings, go out in Field service more, in other words, to solve those mental problems, just DOOOOOOOOOOOO MMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEE. As i have pointed out to my spouse a number of ties they have more than the normal number of deviants mentally in the borg.

  Donations to The Watchtower

  in the uk we are encouraged to make our donations by bank direct debit.

  i just wondered if anyone knows if a direct debit is stopped whether the local kh the doner attended gets informed?.

  my husband stopped his donation some time before we completely ceased attending meetings and he has always wondered whether the elders knew.

  That idea is control at it's best, direct deposit donations to the borg. It's a wonder it has been adopted here in the US of A. I am sure they probably knew when the deposits stopped, all they would have to do is compare it with the sheet from the bank that shows deposit of that kind and then they would know who dropped out so to speak, and who in their mind (of course) isn't giving their idea of a proper amount.

  i was reading through another thread and this was briefly mentioned.

  i remember goodie nights, i also remember how they just kind of faded out.

  was that an unofficial thing or was there official direction from the fds in the form of a letter/article or local needs talk that put a stop to it?.

  actual fellowship {goodie night}with one's supposed brothers and sisters was only really accomplished at the CBS and especially the goodie night, but as we all know having a good time is strictly not allowed. Can't believe people just swallow this bull up and do nothing about it. Lemmings all, they don't think and anyone thinking is definitely a danger to them. they should have a sign on the entrance door of all K.H.s and that being thinking is not allowed on the premises it has been determined by the WTBTS that it presents a danger and thereby is not allowed.

  In smaller letter below, no smiling or having a good short talk with anyone, absolutely no fun, no enjoyment, afterall you are the happiest people in the world why would you need fellowship or fun. It's a job lets get to work.

  If they did have such on entrance doors there would still be zombies coming in.
