If the idiot body of witnesses want some in the R&F to volunteer to go to Israel, why don't they step up and lead the was into Palestine they then can show just how their mythical god will or will not protect them. Want others to take risks they aren't willing to take themselves. what a bunch of cowards, lead by example for a change.

Yes encourage them my ass, just another support of a lie by the society, mythology at work, and yet many will just nod their heads and no one will have the courage to disagree with supporting evidence.

What is the ONE consistent fact we can state about Jehovah's Witness teaching and Doctrine?
by Terry inuntil the scientific method came along, your guess was as good as mine.. science differed from opinion by qualifying hypothesis with testing and something called falsifiability.. what was it?.
you have to find a way to state a scientific theory by making it disprovable!.
if you have the theory "all swans are white" it is testable and disprovable how?.

that sounds exactly like our present administration, they never admit to making a mistake, and if something goes wrong it is always some one else's fault.

The more people who leave the Witnesses, the more people will leave. True?
by ThomasCovenant inif more faders stopped fading and just stopped,.
would more of the many closet unbelieving attendees just stop too, creating a momentum?.

Lemmings do leave the "herd", the will follow it right off the cliff or being brain washed and held captive by the BS in the Watch Tower stables.

3 John 1:4
by William Penwell ini lost my mother some time ago.
today my sister throws up 3 john 1:4 "i have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
" don't any of these cult people undestand when something is emotional black mail?

oh yeah, sister from the congregation, in fact I don't go to any anymore, mentioned my absence at the hall by asking don't you want to see your wife in the new system? Yep nothing but emotional black mail. My wife had died 5 months prior to her stupid question. So I told her attending a hall that has absolutely no real love that isn't conditional doesn't appeal to me nor will it let me see my wife again she is dead and never to be seen again.

Did You Ever Communicate With Disfellowshipped Persons?
by minimus inwe were supposed to treat them as dead!
did you follow this direction?

I always made it a point to talk with disfellowshiopped ones, even helped a couple of them from one part of town to another. They were surprised that I did that, One in particular asked if I was worried about being disfellowshipped for talking with and helping him and his family. I told him I didn't give a damn what the elders or anyone else thought about it, You were my friend when a Jdub and now that you have been ejected you are still my friend. I don't let others pick out who I can and can't have a friendship with. His wife eventually left the dugs too, and they made sure to try and get rid of any residue of the bullshit that had gotten into his childrens mind. He started his own business as he had been working with/for a jdub elder prior to being ejected, so he started his business and became successful. Good for them.
I remember back when they started this nonsense saying shunning was actually an act of love, I even asked a visiting CO about it, asking how could acting like someone didn't exist be an act of love. I told him that was ridiculous and just an excuse to be hypocritical. It's a wonder I wasn't called to the back of the hall after that. No one ever said anything to me about it. Which is probably a good thing as i would have unloaded on them and probably gotten myself ejected.
After my wife's death several years ago and a complete lack of caring on the part of the local congregation that started my fade and I have never been back to a hall and never will again. The witnesses are acidic they are so blinded by bullshit they cant smell it evidently.

My neighbor is a return visit. Should I say something?
by Zoos ini stayed home sick from work the other day and noticed a car group pull up to my neighbor's house.
she's a stay-at-home mom.
i decided it was time to retrieve something from my truck to see if i could recognize the visiting sisters.

So my advice is ask the neighbor questions, lead them to information they will need (i.e. jwfacts.com) to really get informed about just what the witness really were about and what would be expected of her in the event she became one. Let her/them know it isn't jdubs knocking on the door that indicates whether or not they will receive everlastig life, nor is taking their magazines. Tell her it isn't them who separate the good people from the bad people and refer her to Matthew 13:49 and show her it's angels not people that do that.

In 1998 my neighbor and wife were being visited by jdubs, in fact the wife's mother and step farther were jdubs. He husband asked me about jdubs as he knew I presently was one. Over time, I enlightened him as to the true purpose of their visits (recruitment) rather than a bible study. Told him when they come again insist on just the Bible, I let him know how they would start controlling his and his families lives. How he would slowly be sucked into the organization. I showed him the magazines (older ones) and how their doctrines change, and how they had caused the needless deaths of many through their adherence to doctrinal issues. I then told him what would happen after he was baptized and disagreed with them that they would insist that he believe them, the governing body etc. After several months of me and him getting together going over the Bible their supposed 1914 date, desgtruction of Jerusalem in 607 vs 587/6 BC. He had begun doing some research on his own and decided that he and his family were not going to have anything to do with them. When his mother in law visited almost 8 monhts later, his wife told her they no longer study and it was because of the information I had given them about the witnesses.
Her mother spoke with her husband and they decided that he should call Bethel and complain about me, I never heard anything from the local congregation about it one way or the other. He still thanks me to this day when we see each other for giving him the needed information he used to ask them questions which put them on the spot. He was able to catch them in many lies about what the witnesses did and didn't believe. They wanted him to question his church but they sure didn't like it when he asked them pointed questions. Thankfully I was able to help him to have nothing to do with them. His wife was a little pissed at me as I am sure she heard talk from her mom over the issue and how good the witnesses were. The upshot of it was that either he nor his wife had anything to do with them after deciding they lied to him on many occasions.
I felt heartened over the experience and glad I was able to give them info so that they wouldn't be sucked in to the quagmire of the witnesses.

How Have You Changed Much In Attitude & Actions Since Leaving The Witnesses?
by minimus init takes time to stop thinking or reacting like a jehovah's witness.. are you still judgmental?
a know it all?
a person that listens more with their heart instead of their head---like jehovah's witnesses ???.

One big change I longer believe much of anything unless i research and prove it to myself. was always one to do research and that led me out thankfully.
