The other day at Wal Mart, a hot blonde chick with blue eyes was with a guy.....
by asilentone inthe other day at wal mart, a hot blonde chick with blue eyes was with a guy, we smiled at each other few times while we were doing some shopping, i could not bring myself to say hi or something like that, i was not sure if she was with his brother or her significant other (bf, hubby???
) i wish i could handle it differently, how can i know that she is with her brother or her husband or bf?.
guys, how would you handle the situation?

what was the reaction to princess Di's death in your cong?
by highdose ini know it was over ten years but it occured today that it was the first time i was shocked by the reaction of the the dubs.
the general opinion seemed to be that yes it was "sad" ... but actauly it was very good news that she had been killed now, because that meant that she would get a resserection!
and of course seeing that she had led such an immoral life, she would never have survived armargeddon had she lived!.

last year I was in the hair salon. I'd not long bought my son his first electric guitar for Xmas but it didnt come with the lead to connect the amp. I was miffed because I had to go out again and look for one, and I was remarking this to my friend who owns the salon.
a lady who was waiting said the audio company her husband worked for made music equipment for concerts and he could whip up a lead for me. - she asked where I lived and dropped it off that evening.
now lets replace the word electric guitar with ministry bag, and lead with strap, and then the magical lady would have been sent by Jehovah..
but you get my drift really .. 'worldly' people are nice. - well some of them. some witnesses are nice too. - given that people are people there are nice and arseholes the world over. - but no people arent evil just because they are 'in the world'

First ever
by feenx inwell....the fiance and i set up the xmas tree last night.
i've been out for seven years now and amazingly this is my first tree.
it's pretty cool actually!

expressions my mum used like: 'condone' 'totally unsuitable', 'I've marked them'
expressions my stepdad used like: 'you can do what you like under the umbarella of Jehovah', 'faithful in least faithful in least' followed by a lecture on how stupid we were and no one liked us because we were 'unsuitable associates' and maybe an accidental lob in the face that he would pass off as an accident to our mum.

Legally prevent minor chidren being baptized? Anybody done it? can it be done?
by Aussie Oz ini am about to go into mediation with the ex to negotiate new child access arangements.
i was wondering about being able to negotiate this.
i may also end up going to court so it would be good to know if this ever been done.

Family wont communicate - Disf
by w021809 ini was disf'd a year ago - i have had such a hard few years to get through, some days are better than others.
i was married to a very abusive and violent man for 10 years (who everyone thought was the perfect witness) - i was very young when i got married and was never very close to my parents.
my parents never really thought much of my husband and i just always got on the best i could with what i was dealing with behind closed doors.

advice is this. no matter what you think about whats right and wrong, what you see happening within the org is hypocritcal. - if this man was a bully then he didnt like rejection hence the whining and the begging - but you found someone better. good for you! l clearly he didnt like it, but theres an abundance of single sisters in the hall. - informing the elders wouldnt have done anything other than probably prevent them from sitting together, but they could probably still sit at opposite ends of the same row. - all pharasaical. - so my advice is spend time brooding over something you cant change, or enjoy what you have and be happy.
Im sorry about your family, mine have done exactly the same. I havents seen my mum for a year. stepdad 18 months. nephews nieces, brother, the same. but if it dampens your spirit every day its not going to do you any good.
what i tried to make myself think was - I dont accept it, because that makes it acceptable, and its not, but I will deal with the fact that I cant change them, and I will live my life accordingly.. - that mindset has helped me to function x
