Yes, JW's are warned against utilizing any avenue that may run the risk of running into things that are not appropriate for a faithful JW to lay their eyes upon. They also like to take the stance of everyone on the internet being a stranger, with no way of knowing if they are who they say they are or what their true motives are for being on the big bad internet, then they apply Psalm 26:4 to the aforementioned to bolster the rightness of their stance.

3 JC Elders in a car crash.
by african GB Member insuppose they get involved in a car accident shortly after handing down a df judgement in a jc.
they don't die, but surprisingly they all loose their memory.
all jc records that they had on them are destroyed during the accident.. what happens to the poor fellow who is supposed to be announced "no longer one of jehovah's witnesses"?.

He should prayerfully abstain from self abuse while he waits on Jehovah. If he does give in to his carnal masturbational desires he should scream loudly while doing so, in order that he cannot be accused of giving in to rape.

Who have you lost?
by alamb ini wonder if we each put up who we lost from our lives and how long ago if it would be a testament to those who might find this thread and think.
the absurdity.. my parents: 12 years.
my brother: 12 years (he is now married).

I've lost my mother, father, siblings, all the friends I grew up with, my best friend, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Tis sad really when I think about it. If only I had resisted the temptation to get baptized at a young age I would still be able to talk to them now.

Would the "Society" buy a house for an ex-CO?
by bronzefist ineighty something brother emshoff (sp), now living in las vegas, has said that the "society" has bought a house for him to live in.
this doesn't sound like the "society" that i've known for 20 years.
does anyone know if these tightwads would do something like this?

If I had to guess I'd say that maybe some rich, appreciate JW got them a place to live. The $ociety is cheaper than 2 Jews in a dollar store.

My undercover saga - Part 1
by BonaFide inactually, this is part 8 or 9, i can't remember, but i thought i would number them from now on.. i am an active witness, and i want to help my friends and family.
i have had some success in trying to get them to reason, because i always state at the outset, and at the end of the conversation, that i support the faithful slave and gb no matter what.. so since i have a big vehicle, some of the older ones asked me to take them to special assembly day this past weekend.
i had already been, and i told you all about it, but i agreed.

What you are doing is no easy task - walking a line that fine. Kudos to you if you can pull it off successfully. I have similar plans of my own after getting reinstated.

Why do so many on here quote the WT and Awake when Witnesses hardly ever read them?
by BonaFide inreally people, most witnesses do not read the magazines.
i can say that because i go to the meetings, i go in service, i have been a witness all my life.
i have been in english, spanish, and sign language congregations.

The die-hards do read the magazines, but as far as the rest of the sheeple-class, I have to agree with you in that they just don't read 'em. They try to place 'em, but they don't read them.
Sad to say, but I've probably done more WT and Awake reading since deciding that this is NOT the Truth than I did when I ws drinking the Kool Aid.
