that's the latest from the assembly.
they don't want you quoting the watchtower as the source for decisions.
i wonder why.....
All those "apostate" signs at the conventions that read "Read the Bible not the Watchtower" certainly make sense to me now
p.s. Min, where are you getting your info from?
in my writing class, my teacher has asked us to describe something that we used to treasure but now loathe.
so my paper will be about the district convention.
i need some great words to describe my feelings...boredom just skims the surface...the best adjective gets a free pizza!
Cold (as in the concrete steps that you had to climb that were sticky and soaked with spilled soda, but felt great against bare, tired feet)
Struggle (as in the struggle to keep up with your notes and the over all point of the talks)
Anticipation (as in the anticipation of seeing old friends, meeting new boys, Saturday's Drama for a welcome break to the monotany)
Fear, Dread, and Anxiety (as in the fear of doing the wrong thing, wearing the wrong thing, saying the wrong thing, talking to the wrong person, walking too fast or too slow, not taking enough notes or having a clever answer prepared to the dreaded "what was your favorite point" question. Being afraid that come Tuesday SOMEONE would have SOMETHING to counsel you about.)
Relief (as in the last day and you get to go back to the hotel, have dinner and hit the jacuzzi)
i once asked my daughter what happened to make her lose faith in the 'truth'.
what was the turning point?.
she said she heard an assembly part about witnesses kids hanging around the mall.
Yep, she certainly sounds like one smart cookie. Make sure you tell her that.
i cannot compete with threads anymore.
they beat me!
threads about pit bulls and other dogs and virginity get all the attention.
Ah Farkel rather it is all of our Generation X blather that cannot compete with your threads. I read every thread you write. I save all the research you do. You know that too. It's been many years since I've used my WTS study skills. And I got all the doctrinal issues outta my system years ago. Your threads are great for new ones and certainly were a great help to me when I first joined the board. Perhaps you dont get as many responses because not everyone has the gift or WTS debate that you do. I mean I sure as hell cant tell you about the years 1914 and a time of a time and the fall of Nebuchadnezzar, hell I cant even spell Nebuchadnezzar. You mean to tell me the great and wise Farkel is leaving us because he doesnt get as many responses to his threads about meaningful things than the sex and stripper threads do? And here all this time I thought you knew better than that. *sob* bottom line, you cant leave us :(

Michael Moore President Bush and his Administration speaks only the truth...he never lies, exagerates, or ignores contrary facts.
My turn for sarcasm
mary-kate olsen being treated for eating disorder .
1 hour, 3 minutes ago
los angeles (reuters) - teen actress mary-kate olsen, who with her twin sister ashley has grown into an american pop icon and fashion brand, has entered a program for treatment of an eating disorder reported to be anorexia.
It's a wonderful day when you realize you can have the baked potato with butter and sour cream and not have to feel guilty about it. I struggled for a brief time with an eating disorder. Thankfully I got the control back of my life that I needed. I'm sure she'll be just fine. It's a terrible feeling to be obssesed with anything.
Chevy of the 'had her baked potato with butter and sour cream, but the salad dressing on the side last night' class

do you welcome change or do you dread it?
do your fears of change ever hinder you for pursuing things that could better your life?.
the thought of big changes always scares me and i see myself avoiding things that would be a change even if it is possible that it will make my life better.
Change is growth and growth is painful
This is a very true statement in my opinion. For me, I do welcome change. The "what if's" if I DONT change something nag at me. I'm constantly rearranging my furniture, changing my hair color. I'm constantly looking for new business ventures and career choices. I know of people who cant stand change at all, and it is pretty annoying to me sometimes. When I was working as a supervisor we were sent to this seminar about change, and how to make change easier on the employees, we read a great book, that offered some great advice.
