  i think what bugs me the most is that all my life i felt like they were trying to force me out, and for that reason i stuck with it, just to spite them, now in a way they have got what they wanted, even though i would never go back............ does this make sense or am i being stupid?

" not surprised... she always looked the type you know! ... too intelligent by half... thought she was sooo celver!" . " i always suspected her! thought there was somthing not quite right, do you know what i mean?"

  I know this is what they will say because i've been there myself and heard them saying the same things about others. why dos this bother me so much???!!

  hi there, "highdose" wants to try to cut down the "highdose" shes on, i know i need to do this carefully and i wondered if there was anyone here who had ever done the same and could help please?

  is this the correct way to assess your partner?

  according to a ex boyfreind ( jw) the way to look at someone your dating is to look out for all their flaws and then ask yourself " could i live with those flaws all my life?".

  i personaly think this is rather stupid, it totaly rules out love covering a multitude of sins, and dos not take in to acouunt the fact that you may have loads of flaws yourself.

  i personly think that if everyone assessed their partner like this noone would ever have anything more than a one night stand...??

  so far quite dissappointed from what i've seen.

  this is very very important, first i"ll address the non/ex jw then i'll address the jw's (jw's scroll down if don't wanna see the first part).

  i see so many who have concluded that it was not 'god inspired', a lot of what is being done, and their conscience told them that many things conflicted with jesus teachings and the bible.

  just remembered some insane old laws that were preached from the platform when i was in:.

  jazz: is a slang word for sex, therefore jazz is not for christians ( jw's).

  rock and roll: ditto it describes sex therefore is bad.

  I once heard a PO denounce the program "Top Gear" because Jeremy Clarkson desribed a car as being "sexy", this PO had smoke coming out of his ears about it! How can a car be sexy?!!? he roared!

  talking about sex is bad, sex education is not for loyal JW's, it only encourages them to have sex.

  What will happen?

  i have a jw freind who faded and has been out now for about a year and a half.

  they are not df'd or da'd at all and therefore still tecnicaly a jw.. in this time of being out he has got himself a girlfreind, started smoking, drinking and doing everything that worldly people do, but heres the thing.... hes told me that he still belives its the truth, and he intends to go back some day, and he belives that when he dos he will be welcomed with open arms, there will be no jc's at all.

  if this is true then it would be ok to have a holiday from being a jw, somehow i can't see this happening.... so what will happen to this guy when he finaly goes back???
