Cure for Heart Disease !
by Amazing inafter i had the big one, i moved quickly into medical books to determine what furute treatment would be my choice for dealing with my 'heart condition.
1. coronary by-pass: this is currently very accepted, and may be needed, but i am holding off for now.
the idea of someone cracking my sternum open and lifting out my heart to splice leg arteries into it seems difficult and radical without at least exploring other options.

This does not mean that other points of the artery cannot get disease, but at least the bad spot is cured, and with proper diet and exercise ... avoiding pizza, not smoking, staying away from bacon-chessburgers with whipped cream and cherry on top plus good exercise will help prevent future problems.
And you thought being a dub was torture :-)
Welcome back, glad to hear you are doing well... !!!!

32 And they spoke the word of Jehovah to him together with all those in his house. 33 And he took them along in that hour of the night and bathed their stripes; and, one and all, he and his were baptized without delay. 34 And he brought them into his house and set a table before them, and he rejoiced greatly with all his household now that he had believed God. Acts 16: 32 - 34
What, how could this be? They were baptized without delay? (33) Huh? What happened to the months needed for studies? Didn't they have to have a baptismal talk or something? -- Hmmmm.... -

I posted something about these types of articles in another thread...
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=29375&site=3
----------
Yeah, I believe the 'brothers' in the writing department know exactly what they write, and why they write it..
It's a very effective technique in mnd control.. You 'present' the facts to them in such a way as to suggest that 'we are not doing this to you' yet you have then planted a seed by which you can point out others and say, see, we warned you about this stuff.. Glad we don't do that, aren't you..
The mind by default is 'wired' to assume that if someone warns you of something, that person doing the warning is NOT the person perpetrating the 'crime' against you..
If I were to say to you, "Hey, I think you should be careful.. I've heard that there is someone out there that is trying to steal your wallet" you would probably be put 'on gaurd' by my warning, looking for anyone that may indeed by trying to steal your wallet.. However, by me telling you this, I have gained a bit of trust from you, because I gave you the warning... The more I 'warn' you of things, the more 'trust' I earn.. Meanwhile, since I was the one that 'warned' you, you certainly wouldn't be expecting that I was the one that I was warning you about, would you? No, you wouldn't be protecting your wallet from me, after all, it's just not logical that I would warn you about myself..
Repeat these 'I'm warning you because I love you" many times, and soon I have your complete confidence.. The WT seems to be masters at this.. I find this technique used in almost every article I read from them!!!
For anyone indoctrinated by the technique, the writings look completely ordinary, and the person is put at 'ease' because their 'trusted friend' is once again 'warning' them of something, but anyone not indoctrinated by that will see immediatly the complete and utter hypocrisy that the statement holds, and the fact that the warnings are indeed exactly what the 'warner' is trying to do to them in the first place...
To carry this point even further, people outside the WT can see through this, and so they begin to warn their loved ones exactly what the WT is trying to do to them (It's a cult, can't you see the hypocrisy in this statement, look here, they are false prophets, etc.. etc.. etc..)..
But, what did their 'trusted friend' the WT already tell them what would happen? They warned that Satan will indeed try any and every means possible to 'pull you away' from us.. Hence, the warnings are not only ignored by members already indoctrinated, but indeed the WT has used that 'default wiring' to say, "We were the ones to warn you of this behaviour'.. The very act of trying to show your loved ones that the WT is wrong becomes a re-enforcement to the JW.. They are very clever, indeed!!!!

JW's (again) dodge the question.....
by TheApostleAK inq is the organization a direct channel between god and humanity?
a again, our governing body has never claimed that our organization is inspired or infallible.
instead they, our governing body, study the bible diligently and through prayer they make a request for his holy spirit to direct them and be upon them.

Hey,
Don't forget the May, 1974 KM; "How are you using your life?"
"
Yes, since the summer of 1973 there have been new peaks in pioneers every month. Now there are 20,394 regular and special pioneers in the United States, an all-time peak. That is 5,190 more than there were in February 1973! A 34-percent increase! Does that not warm our hearts? Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked worlds end.1 John 2:17.
"
Let's see, June 2002 - May, 1974 = 28 Years, 1 Month that these brothers are still out there in the pioneer service without a roof over their head.. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the SHORT time remaining before this wicked world ends!!!!! I hope their funds aren't running out yet, because that MAY be the 'trigger' for Armageddon <ROFL>

I'm an ENXP (X means I'm equally divided between thinking and feeling)..
So, here is what I found out about the Champion (ENFP)
The Champion Idealists are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in accomplishing their aims, and informative and extraverted when relating with others. For Champions, nothing occurs which does not have some deep ethical significance, and this, coupled with their uncanny sense of the motivations of others, gives them a talent for seeing life as an exciting drama, pregnant with possibilities for both good and evil. This type is found in only about 3 percent of the general population, but they have great influence because of their extraordinary impact on others. Champions are inclined to go everywhere and look into everything that has to do with the advance of good and the retreat of evil in the world. They can't bear to miss out on what is going on around them; they must experience, first hand, all the significant social events that affect our lives. And then they are eager to relate the stories they've uncovered, hoping to disclose the "truth" of people and issues, and to advocate causes. This strong drive to unveil current events can make them tireless in conversing with others, like fountains that bubble and splash, spilling over their own words to get it all out.
Champions consider intense emotional experiences as being vital to a full life, although they can never quite shake the feeling that a part of themselves is split off, uninvolved in the experience. Thus, while they strive for emotional congruency, they often see themselves in some danger of losing touch with their real feelings, which eNFps possess in a wide range and variety. In the same vein, eNFps strive toward a kind of spontaneous personal authenticity, and this intention always to "be themselves" is usually communicated nonverbally to others, who find it quite attractive. All too often, however, eNFps fall short in their efforts to be authentic, and they tend to heap coals of fire on themselves, berating themselves for the slightest self-conscious role-playing.
And here is the Inventor (ENTP)
Of the four aspects of strategic analysis and definition it is the functional engineering or inventive role that reaches the highest development in Inventors. It is so natural for these individuals to practice devising gadgets and mechanisms, that they start doing it even as young children. And they get such a kick out of it that they really never stop exercising their inventive bent. Of course as this kind of activity is practiced some structural engineering inevitably happens, so that the next kind of skill to develop in the Inventor is that of designing. Now planning contingencies and marshalling forces, though practiced in some degree in the course of engineering activity, develop more slowly and are soon left behind by the burgeoning of talent in engineering. However, any kind of strategic exercise tends to bring added strength to both engineering and organizing skills.
As the Inventors' engineering capabilities increase so does their desire to let others know about whatever has come of their engineering efforts. So they tend to take up an informative role in their social exchanges. On the other hand they have less and less desire, if they ever had any, to direct the activities of others, doing so only when forced to by circumstances.
As engineers of function Inventors wish to exercise their competence in the world of people and things, and thus they deal imaginatively with social systems as well as physical and technological systems. They are very alert to what is apt to occur next-under certain conditions, if certain criteria are met-and they are always sensitive to possibilities. Found in two percent (at most) of the population, Inventors are good at functional analysis, and have both a tolerance for and enjoyment of complex problems. Outgoing and intensely curious, Inventors are apt to express interest in finding out about everything they come into contact with, and this can be a source of inspiration to others, who find themselves admiring the Inventor's insatiable hunger for knowledge. Inventors are also endlessly inventive, and are the most reluctant of all the types to do things in a particular manner just because that is the way things have always been done. They characteristically have an eye out for a better way, always on the lookout for new projects, new activities, new procedures. Inventors are confident in the value of their interests and display a charming capacity to ignore the standard, the traditional, and the authoritative. As a result of this innovative attitude, they often bring fresh, new approaches to their work and their lives.
--- Guess what --- Both of these descriptions fit me like a glove!!!!

Well, the problem with that statement, Robert, is those pesky scriptures keep getting in the way of the WT...

No bait and switch needed, everyone *KNOWS* the the wtbts/gb IS GOD!!!!Bait and switch. Of course your dedication is only to God, but as the only earthly org with the holy spirit power, they have to right to exclude you from the festivities if they choose.
After all, aren't the JW's 'conditioned' to believe that turning your back on the 'organization' is the same as turning your back on Jehovah himself? -- If you don't listen to 'mother' isn't that the same as rebellion against Jehovah..
Symantics, but there is no difference in the R&F JW's mind...
