in light of the reaction after the panorama program i have seen a mixed variety of responses.

Look only to Christ as a means of seeing God. ~~Use the society as a means of obtaining the neccesary information to learn about Christ. Work with the society to further aid that process for others~~. Do not look to ~~other~~ humans as an exclusive means to this end and never accept or lay down on man made policies. I highlighted your last comments.. A few quesitons, if I may:

1.) Does Jehovah work through Holy spirit?

2.) The society clearly (as you even admit with their 'bible based' pedophile policy) has misinterpreted bible scripture before (Example: At one time, getting an organ transplant was cannibalism -- now it's not; another example - their bible based interpretation of Generation has recently changed) so how can you claim that the organization is needed in obtaining the 'neccesary information about Christ'? -- More over, if you think for yourself, is there anything else you disagree with on the organization? Do you agree with all their doctrines and policies? Some of them are wrong, you know.. After all, they do not have 'all the light'.. Can you give me just one doctrine that the organization has that they have stated there is no need for new light on? (I.E. Absolute truth about Christ)?

3.) As stated in my point above, if you teach someone something, are you in essence taking the 'lead' and then become responsible for that person? (As they state the elders are responsible for the rest of the flock?).. Teaching elevates you to the position of a responsible person, and by bringing others into the flock elevates you to being responsible for them.

A.) Do you mean OTHER humans besides the organization?

B.) What is so special about the humans that run the organization? They have made mistakes, they are not perfect, so what differentiates them from the rest of the world?

C.) Does the organization have any man-made policies themselves? Or do their policies originate with Jehovah?

a.) If they originate from man, why are you following them (Pharisee)?

b.) If they origianate from Jehovah, does that mean that Jehovah has directly told them these policies?

1a.) If Jehovah has told them these policies directly, why have they needed to adjust them -- Did Jehovah NOT tell them an accurate policy?

1b.) If Jehovah did not tell them directly, what is your proof that Jehovah did indeed send them to the organization?

2b.) Once you show 'proof' of Jehovah's sending them the policies, answer questin 1a please.

i also would have answered that way, when i was a dub.

I'll take a shot..

Doesn't the bible state that if you have a problem with your brother or sister, to go and talk that out.. If that doesn't work, bring one or two with you, in hopes that you can win your brother back.. If that still doesn't work then aren't you supposed to treat him/her as you would anyone from the nations? At that point, do you still consider him/her your brother/sister? And at that point, wouldn't it be ok to seek retribution?

Don't sue first... But at some point they say to "cleanse" the congregation.. At that point, I believe he is no longer your brother (Treat him like you would a man of the nations, or a tax collector)..

I'm paraphrasing here, as I don't know the scriptures off hand, but how's that for an explanation?

If it's a small matter, forgive him/her without any issue, hold no grudge, and move on.. If it's a matter that you feel is large enough to resolve, work it out as brothers and sisters first, and give every attempt to him/her to repent and ask for forgiveness. If that works, you've won your brother/sister.. If that doesn't work, then you have to make a call based on your conscience.. Can you live with the injustice that was done to you? Do you still wish to consider him/her your brother/sister? If the answer is yes, then again, forgive him/her, drop the matter, and hold no grudge.. If the answer is no, then you treat him as a man/woman of the nations, and at that point s/he is no longer your brother/sister, and then you can seek retribution in Ceasar's system...

Just my opinion, I've been known to be wrong, and I'm sure someone here will point out my flawed logic soon !!!

1000 were asked to leave brooklyn bethel (actually, this includes the farm and patterson) "voluntarily!

" only 6 replied to the request in the last 3 weeks.

it looks like the "waters" of bethel are drying up, or rather, their revenues are drying up!

I really feel very sorry for these people if it turns out to be true.. My heart really goes out to them!!!

Hopefully, this will be a fatal flaw in the GB's reasoning.. Maybe just maybe these people will see exactly how 'loving' their 'mother' is being to them.. I've heard them complain about the loyalty of 'big business' whenever a big company lays people off.. Let's see if any of them can connect the dots, and realize that 'mother's in big business too!!!

After all, are they stopping the printing presses? So why the need to downsize? Are they phasing out the need for brothers and sisters because they are getting more efficient? If so, why do they need to get more efficient? Isn't it great to be able to offer work to your fellow brothers and sisters? Why do they suddenly not need them any more... -- Hopefully a few brain cells will wake up with this announcement!!!

Yeah what is a fellow to do with only a high school education?? If they 
			end up strapped without money, I am sure the WT won't bail them out.

Assuming this is true, and can be verified (no offense, but I'm certainly of the 'question until proven' class) then I'm sure

the lawsuits are a part of it.. But, there may be another part of it too, called damage control.. The less people there the

easier it is to control the information leaking out, as they say, less eye 'witnesses' to the crime(s)...

Just food for thought!!! (Not that the GB would EVER think that way <ROFL>)

here are some questions for the honest and good elders in the congregation of jehovahs witnesses:

#1. when a member of your congregation asks you if it is true that victims of pedophiles where/are often not encouraged by elders to go to the police, or where told to stay quiet because they have/had no second witness, will you tell the truth?

#2 when you hear members of the congregation attack the victims who spoke out on dateline and panoramavictims who did nothing wrong and whose lives where destroyed by evil menwhen you hear members of the congregation attack those victims, what will you do?

The Trinity Is A False Doctrine!

Honestly, I dont' think it is a salvation issue at all.. I have no problem with people that believe in the trinity or with people who don't believe in the trinity... I do not think either side is right or wrong because, as you pointed out, and I agree with completely, no one knows for sure..

But I do disagree with the WT in that they don't have any clue what the trinity doctrine really means, yet they clearly have no problem trashing the doctrine.. And they do this constantly with just about all other religions, and other's doctrines.. They have no clue, yet they trash them anyway..That was my whole point to my post.. They think the trinity means 3 gods, and it does NOT in any way even suggest 3 seperate gods...

However, I was pointing out how their doctrine has a few flaws in it, using their OWN bible (In fact, the flaws don't appear in other bibles, only in their BIBLE does it create a problem for them)..They have seperated their God Jehovah from their god Jesus by their very own bible translation.. Jesus is "A GOD"... And they pray through him to Jehovah.. Why would you have to pray THROUGH one god to get to another god??? It clearly states in the bible (Even the NWT) that there will be no god before me... (So, how can Jesus, who is called "A GOD" in the NWT need to be put 'before' Jehovah, as it says (even in the NWT) no one can come to the father except thru me (Jesus)..)

And I won't even get into the problem they cause themselves with the fact that Jesus is only the mediator of the 144,000...

And, ya know what, not a single JW has EVER been able to explain to me about the "A god" nor have they been able to show me in any bible where it states that Jesus is only the mediator of 144,000...

Explain to me how people not of the little flock can even address Jehovah, as Jesus clearly states that NO-ONE gets to the father except thru me..

6,000,000 jw worldwide, how many of that number have any clear idea as to how the central part of the organization functions?

how many of them know how decisions as to doctrinal teachings are reached?
