  felt so sorry for them,i questioned the 1914 date and they schpeeled out the crap theyre told,i asked what they personally thaught about it,that stumped them as they dont have the remit to think for thewmselves.. i then offered them the 'crisis of concience ' book and they damn near ran out the garden!

  ....cure the sick in my name.

  as i have mentioned before i now attend church and enjoy it very much,its the church of england and its very easy going,my wife attends the local comunity church which is pretty much born again christians and is doing the alpha course.

  a couple of months ago the wife shot her finger with a catapult and broke the bone clean in two,this was realy hurting her and making her washing up job at the school very difficult,so one of the church members 79 year old dot,did the laying on of hands bit and the finger was cured ie mended!

  no more pain or swelling,this has continued till this day,also when we had the car taken we were left with no transport and we live in a very rural location,all the cycling for the wifes work meant her ankles were in pain,big pain as in hobbling about, she went to the alpha course that evening ,dot prayed over her again and streight away could jump up and down and walk with no pain at all!

  did any other english jw's struggle at school with their spellings?

  reading american english all the time in the mags and stuff realy got me spelling the american way and so my schooling suffered,sometimes whole words didnt exist in the queens english!.

  i guess you american xjw's wont quite understand!lol.

  a couple of questions.

  firstly ,as i have just recently had a epiphany and now see that jehovahs wittness are a cult , their beliefes deeply flawed,are not in the least a chosen people and that the whole organisation is flawed i was wondering how many of you still have the beliefs and if not how long did it take to shed them?.

  secondly ,do you still have a strong faith in god,and if so have to joined another faith comunity?.

  thirdly ,do you still pray to jehovah or the 'lord' or god ?

  blood on the hands of the governing body.

  we all remember the doctrine of blood guilt,now for some time i have been of the belief that the gb are blood guilty for the death of the witness in the german concentration camps,they were told to preach against the nazi party ,which is in violation of the bibles principle of 'being no part of the world' and is verging on political action.

  this work drew attention to themselves by the german authorities.

  had they just been good christians and keeping out of politics none would have died in the camps..
