French Literature ... what say ye?

my wife and her family are haitian, so they attended the french congregation.

when i was a witness i was at the time interested in the old books and history of the faith.

so in an attempt toi enlighten my in-law, i sought for old french literature.

since when did Jehovah become a common name?

growing up in the troof, my mom used to tell me that no one else in the universe had the name jehovah.

i remember her even recounting an experience where a catholic couple wanted to name/baptize their son jehovah and the priest counselled against it.

now i see all sorts of people with the name jehovah, on facebook, in the news and even in other languagues (the portuguese version jeova).

The Judaism religion have come from the "Talmud",I dare say that "god religion"(Yawist?Yaooist?) have been separate when the "Talmud and Jesus" have come in this world...

But the true faith was in the "some Jews" hand after the crucifixion "Christendom" have become another false Religion.

Even the son have come to do the will of is father,not to begin another religion...

Hebrew to Greek/Latin derived:"UW" will do a "OO" sound in english and in other languages can become a "OU","OW","UI","EW" and even the "W"(double U) alone have become a "OO"

An example that I can done is in French:In France or Quebec the letter W is said to be a double V but in all the world the only one that pronounce the W like a V is the French that got their influence by the German language.

We say a Wagon,they say a Vagon!but in hebrew the V sound have never existed!

another thing is the A-E-I sound...they become inverted in some languages like french and english...you're A sound have a É sound in french and our E sound have become you`re I sound.But even if its like that we pronounce all the actual name the same for the "A-E-I"

New World Translation, is it the best bible translation?

my jw elder friend said to me that the nwt is the best translation of the bible and that scholars have said as much.

is this true and is it the best?

are there scholars who disagree?.

I`m not too good to write in english but I can read what I want with no problem ,I begin to see how the french NWT is bad,I often need to go see for other version like the King James in english even if the father name is not here.

I have found an old french Jerusalem bible in my father old stuff(before TJ) and begin to really enjoy how it is written,and often the theologian can give me an another comprehension that is not going in the same way of the watchtower or the catholic church.(the theologian don`t always agree with the church and they share their opinions.)

I don`t know why but the NWT really really scrap the charm of reading.(too much words for nothing)
