wow, jes, I did not realize you had inquired that long ago. I sure hope they are just on a long vacation and that's all. I know some folks get very busy and all, but when people just sort of drop off the face of the earth in a cyber-way, I do get concerned.

I have fond memories of the 3 straight world series wins in the 70s.

Thanks Amazing.
Yeah, Goph, that is the only way I know her, and it's cool that we do care for each other here even though many of us have never met.

I'm getting a bit concerned, since she did have surgery not long ago and was having some problems recuperating fully. Does anyone know how she is doing? Thanks!

IF YOU COULD HAVE JW'S OUTLAWED, WOULD YOU?
by minimus insince so many are vehemently opposed to jehovah's witnesses, if it was in your power, would you simply outlaw the witnesses?

I do not think they should be banned. I do think like Dakota that certain disclosures should be required.

Amanda, when you do not post for awhile, I for one do notice. And I do give a "rat's azzzz", Fortunately, we are hooked up e-mail and IM wise, so even when you are not posting, we can keep in touch.

When brothers don't reach out
by Sadie5 inall this talk about privileges being taken away, such as microphone duty, got me to thinking about how some brothers are viewed who aren't reaching out.. my husband would have fallen in this category.
i got involved with the jws first and looking back i think he just followed along to keep peace in our marriage.
he (gladly) followed me out too.. when we were jws, it wasn't a priority to him to become a ms or elder.

This is an excellent thread, and having been through the whole process - nobody, MS, elder, and back to nobody, I can relate to the initial post and replies totally.
Sadie, good post!
