I actually did one of these before. Looking back on it, I feel like an idiot for standing on that stage talking to myself. What makes it so ironic, is that the very point of that soliloquy, is what I'm struggling with now. I'm getting ready to do the exact opposite of what my character on the soliloquy did.

Soliloquy
by behemot inin recent years the assemblies started to feature a new kind of demonstration on stage: the soliloquy, where inner thoughts and reasonings of the character are uttered aloud for the benefit of the audience.
usually the plot is something like this:.
1. the character (a brother, a sister, a youngster) starts with indulging in a selfish/materialistic/unspiritual thought/plan.

Anytime I see a thread on the Active Topics page, and I see your name Isaac as the last poster on that particular thread, it lets me know a troll has reared its ugly head. Why is it that trolls can't do a better job at shielding their identity by at least changing their posting style? Not to get all CIS on you guys, but how does one go from Alice In Wonderland, to Confearacy, to Spade. That's a heluva hopscotch in screen names.

Why Are They Called "Pioneers"?
by Ding indoes anyone know how the wts came up with the term "pioneer" and the related "auxiliary" and "special" pioneer terms?.
it's not in the bible and it seems to come from us expansionist history....

The average publisher who does 10 hours in the ministry accomplishes just as much and sometimes more than the regular pioneer who puts in 70 hours a month. Quite the trailblazers they are, those regular pioneers.

Funny to me that you posted this. I was researching WT articles on Lottery Tickets, which by the way, I only found one article on the subject. There were a ton of negative mentions of Lottery tickets in other nonrelated articles however. So I browsed on here using the search engine to see the apostate thoughts on this subject, and Farkel compared the JWs and other religion's marketing of themselves to people as bing similar to gambling and lottery tickets. The positive thing about lottery tickets are you can choose how much you wish to invest and not lose too much. With the JW mindset, and other organized religions is, you gamble away your whole life waiting on something that more and more looks like its not going to happen. Lately I'm more envious of an athiest's or humanist's life than I am of a regular pioneer.

i have not been posting "a lot" lately (not that i post a lot, considering the averages) and there is a reason: i have another bit to share and just wasn't up to the "fight" that usually comes when i do so.
so, i had to take a step back and let our lord refresh me a bit and give me the strength... and flint-y forehead... that i would need to follow through with this post.

After reviewing this thread, I stand corrected. Shelby apparently has a supportive audience. That being the case, I admit I underestimated her support on this forum. Continue on, don't mind me as I'm going to go back to respectfully observing these threads. I'm glad I asked the question though as I got what I was looking for. Shelby if your reading this, can you do me a favor since your the praying type. Can you pray that Nas releases Lost Tapes II before the end of this year?
Outlaw as someone not celebrating Thanksgiving, I sure wish KFC was open right now. The only joints open are Chinese joints, and I don't want any of that. I might have to fry something myself. I don't have any chicken though, but I got some fish, got some ground meat too.
Anyways happy Turkey Day peoples, although for those who don't have to work tommorrow, I don't wish you a happy turkey day. May peace be only upon those who have to work tommorrow.

I don't want Shelby gone from here, anymore than I want you gone from here my beloved KFC brother. I have nothing but love for everyone on this board. Anybody thats ever been scathed by this religion, means something to me, regardless of any petty differences.
The point I was attempting to make, and maybe I did a poor job at it, was that what Shelby is posting, in my opinion anyways, is a lost cause. This forum is full of people burned out by chosen messengers of God. I've never jumped in any of the threads that Shelby recieved hostile responses in. I just stayed out of it. Even now I'm attempting to remain neutral. However, for the sake of my own interest, I have to question what's the purpose of her message? This forum is full of undercover apostates sick of organized religion, out in the open apostates sick of organized religion, people sick of so called chosen messengers, sick of chosen organizations, sick of faithful and discreet slaves, sick of people speaking in the name of Christ, or in the name of Jehovah, or in this case.....speaking in the name of JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH.
I don't want to take sides with those who are Anti-Shelby, or those pro-Shelby. I just want to know where she's coming from. Speaking from the standpoint of a curious observer, I just want to know what makes her tick. I want to know if she realizes just how crazy she comes off? To some she comes off as a bonafide nut, to others she comes off as holier than thou, and offensive. A similar group of old men in Walkhill, NY are the very reason many people ended up on this message board in the first place. That being said, I don't think its unfair of me or anybody else on here to question who she thinks she is, or what she hopes to accomplish here.
Again, I'm being sincere, and I think I've showed my teeth enough times on this forum for people to know when I have a problem with someone. I hope Shelby knows, and actually, I believe she does know that I mean no harm. She knows "my kind", us roosters. She knows how to put my kind in place when necessary.

Well Shell, that rhymes by the way, I do find it interesting. I've never engaged you since I started coming here, and I've been meaning to. Not in a the hostile sense of it all, as I have no bone to pick with you. Plus I like the fact that you call me Rooster. It does something for my swagger. I feel like the Foghorn Leghorn of JWN. I look at all the ladies on this message board as my hens. Let me ask you some more questions since you're feeling all domesticated and peaceful.
If you've recieved so much hostile reception from this corner of the house of God, Israel, why do you continue trying to reason with them?(Luke 7:29-31; Exo 32:9,10) Is not what you're doing as ineffective as JWs doing return visits in Jewish neighborhoods?
At Matthew 10:11-14 when Jesus gave his disciples instructions, he told them that if the "house is deserving, let your peace rest upon it, if it is not, let your peace return upon you." You've told more people, "to have peace" on this message board than I've seen hippies hold peace signs up in the sixties and seventies. Generally speaking you yourself acknowledge that the reception to either your or your Lord's message has been cold. In verse 14 of that same verse Jesus said, "If anyone will not welcome you, or listen to your words, leave that home or town, and shake the dust of your feet." Shelby I fear it may be time for you to move on and take your message someplace else, because clearly with the exception of a few, your message has fallen upon deaf ears. You mentioned another forum, who's name you've forgotten, but you didn't forget how callous they were towards your Lord's message. So you moved on. Its time to move on from here too, Shelby.
