  so today was my first sunday meeting that i didn't go with my wife.

  as an update she has decided not to move out right now...because she doesn't have anywhere to go.

  We could start with "The Finished Mystery" since it was released in 1919...the very year that Jesus chose the WT as his Faithful Slave!!!

  a poster mentioned that wt may be using an outside source to join discussion boards such as this one in order to track down copyright infringements.. it that is true - it is certainly plausible and feasible - wouldn't that be something?.

  the great and lofty watch tower, having to rely on elements of satan's sytemtm to protect its interests!.

  Copyright protection doesn't require sale or commerical gain, only authorship. The GPL (General Public License) of the free-software movement is a good example of copyright protection applied to non-commercial products.

  Dating a JW for 3 yrs

  my bf and i are thinking on getting married.

  i posted a foum early this week on whether or not i should get baptized.

  i decided not to.. now even though he says he "doesn't care" he got upset last night when i mentioned the subject and how confused i was.

  First, welcome to the forum! (if I haven't already said that to you). I'm glad you're asking these questions before taking the plunge into mixed-faith marriage to a Witness.

  I am amazed how many young JW guys/gals, become inactive JWs, don't live in accordance to JW dogma, rules and regulations, then get their "worldly" (JW term for someone never a JW) boyfriend/girlfriend). Then, they get these non-suspecting non-JWs in love with them and get engaged or married. Then, revert back to JWdom, and get their BF/GF to study with JWs and hopefully get baptized.

  Even if you don't study and don't get baptised, there is still a lot of pressure. The UnBelieving Mate (UBM) who wants to remain that way will be love-bombed at first, but eventually becomes a second-class member of the Witness family when they resist conversion. Meanwhile, at first their spouse is earning sympathy points for trying to bring you into the organization, then is seen as spiritually weak because they couldn't make you "come into The Truth". That would likely occur sooner rather than later when the JW is the husband, who is supposed to provide strong "headship" and control the family's spiritual life.

  Flip, I got home late and tuned in time for the last inning. When Uribe connected, everybody knew it was over. If Tim L. pitches tomorrow like he did Thursday two weeks ago, the Phillies are in for a rough night!
