  DV -- Do you mean to tell us that you didn't see Christ's return in 1914, 1918, 1919, 1925, and 1975?
  
  The Tower of Lies is guilty of many things, but I thought the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Return was in all the papers. :)

  Kingdumb Discomfort

  i have noticed that most kingdumb hells have had numerous comfort problems.

  one of the most consistent is that they are extremely dry at this time of year.

  i can remember when i had chapped hands, that it is always worse after sitting there for 2 hours.

  It's been over 20 years since I've been in a KH, but most union halls looked better than many of the ones I attended.
  
  Concerning the septic tank comment let me just add that Septic Tanks and Kingdom Halls seem to go together. :)

  The Tower wants others to question their religion, but God help the JW that questions theirs. There's a big reason why the Tower is fearful of the internet--it's information they can't control.

  There is ALWAYS a religion, sect, cult or someone willing to give someone the answer to ALL of their religious questions. When that happens, run as fast as you can.
  
  Spiritual questions are things most of us think about from time to time, but folks with The Answer are only fooling themselves and anyone willing to believe them. Enjoy the question, but ALWAYS question The Answer. As a seeker once said, "Those who know that they don't know, knows." That's about the closest thing to spiritual truth that I've found.

  how have jws reacted to a fellow member who decides to grow a beard?

  As most of you know, Charles Russell had a full beard until he died in 1917. Many Bible Students thought the world of him and it wasn’t uncommon for the men to wear beards like Russell. The second president didn’t wear a beard Joseph Rutherford made it clear that he didn’t favor others who wore them. Rutherford knew he wasn’t Russell’s pick as a successor and that he forced his way into that position. I don’t believe he wanted any Russell look-a-likes in the ranks, and the Tower has come up with all kinds of crazy reasons why it’s not proper for the guys to wear beards. I thinks it's just a Tower control thing today, but I'm fairly sure it started because Rutherford was jealous. That’s why I grew one before I stopped attending meetings. The looks I got were priceless back in early 80s. I still wear one today.

  What do you think about Demons now?

  hi guys!.

  as many of you know, i'm still inside the borg, but my mind is completely disconnected.

  i had a chat with some friends during the week, and they started sharing experiences they had, dealing with demons in the past.. i heard some stories from brothers from cuba, that used to be mediums or "saints", and how the demons "immediately started to attack them when they started learning the truth(tm)".

  Wednesday makes a good point. If you were a demon and could buzz around, scare JWs, and do most anything you like, why would you hold up in some dirty old antiques or the like. Think about it--you could rule the White House, which explains a lot. :))
