  Question For Elders - Am I being Paranoid?

  i gave the talk last week on the meaning of the memorial emblems in the 'b' school.

  (included subtle 'seeds' as well) i was puzzled to see a member of the service committee come in as part of the spectator group, because he never leaves his family to come into the 'b' school.

  (i was wondering if i'd been deliberately assigned the material, to test me).

  i hope that it is simply that they love you and accept you for who you are. if it really is bothering you, you could open the conversation by expressing to them that you really appreciate your relationship with them and their interaction with you.......

  Snare & Racket - thank you for your response. The misquoting and tailoring things to fit their theme just goes against all professionalism and scholarly honesty. I've always been appalled by how they just grab things at random out of the air and publish them as fact.

  so today one of the local elders came around to "check out how you are doing.".

  i didn't really feel like putting up with the interrogation, or the false concern so i decided that i didn't "hear" the doorbell.

  the guy decided he needed to circle my home and peek in the windows to see if i was home or not.

  now that "habemus papam", i was wondering how it is that someone in the watchtower becomes a member of the governing body.

  does anybody know?.

  and, how do they choose who gets to be a member of the corporations?.

  yet another fabricated "experience" to prove their warped view.

  to me - if a group of people you believe love and care for you turn on you and kick you out of their group - the last thing you want is back in. normal psychology would involve the victim feeling hurt and antagonized - and seeking solace elsewhere. i know that family is a strong pull in so many cases, but really - grow a set and move on.

  why the big fear that people might associate with those who opt out? yeah - i know..keep 'em knuckled under lacking thought, substance or guts.

  they do not do a good job of exploring why different people stop going to the meetings and make any improvements.. this is a quote from another topic.

  it reminds me of the may 15 2012 study article about marry only in the lord, p 4 para7.

  they are not trying to improve their product (the people).

  it has led to more miserable marriages...they get married because they can't have sex legitimately without doing so - and they have no life experience whatsoever, and usually are incapable of even supporting themselves - but they have to get married and to someone in the cong or a cong somewhere....and so they do....and they are ill-suited to one another, they don't get a chance to get to know eachother because it is all so hurried along in fear they might fornicate - AND they - the obedient ones - are never ever even alone 1:1 with eachother until after the wedding because of that insane chaperone ruling. no wonder the marriages are messes...........

  and all that nauseauting information they hand out to those wanting to marry - to look for spiritual qualities - ie status in the cong. and that means just about nothing except that some kid was born into a particular family that is sitting pretty.

  Brother placed 'Teach" Book to President Obama? WTF?

  i just read a post on monday aprox 9pm on the "escuela del ministerio teocratico/theocratic ministry school" on facebook (posted in spanish).. it is talking about an experience given in a ohio, circuit assembly.. it reads that a brother that was a worker at the factory obama was visiting, was able to preach briefly to president obama and place the book 'what does the bible teach' during a quick meet and greet.. i think its bullshit.. anyone ever heard of this experience at a assembly?.

  i dont have a cpu, and my phone is not working, for me to copy, translate and post on here for you all to see.

  since awakening, i find it to be hilarious when jws badmouth catholics and the pope but are completely oblivious to how hypocritical they are considering the gb and other wt heavyweights..

  i love the pyramid schemes - it is just so true. same exact totem pole...different titles is all. my wild side wonders if there's some kinship under the surface somewhere....my cynical conspiracy theory brain at work....but, at any rate, a happy day for the catholics....a new vicar of christ...

  does the average jw even know that the prior pope retired and a new one has been smoked out of the group?
