just say no.....................simple. you owe no explanations or reasons, you simply decline graciously. basic point - if you WANT to do something, you will. if you do NOT want to do something, you are under no obligation. let your "yes mean yes and your no mean no".....and you do not have to produce reasons. you are a free moral agent and can choose what you want to do or do not want to do and it is nobody's business why you choose as you do.

Resigned being an elder

if any parent honestly believes this to be a beneficial "teaching instrument" they should be castrated. this is just so - well, i read it first here and couldn't believe it - and went to the website and found it is indeed out there...plus so much other absolultely warped material... the lows to inflict guilt, misery and coersion are beyond appalling. and poor little silly kids who just need to grow up in a safe happy environment....despicable.....i really think they are worsening.....this is just taking it too far.

i am currently awake and have no plans to fade, in my case i am patient enough to in time become an elder to at least help the younger friends here in my area, in the sense of helping them wake up/if elder have their back..

WT Society, Travel agency? Latest money making scheme?

one person i knew applied to go to the assembly next year in south africa.
she was elated to find she and her daughter-in-law were accepted for the south africa site.

in this age of internet applications, travel arrangements are very easy to make and a little patience and brain power and you can really knock down the cost. You don't need a middle-man these days to get a cut of the action......make your own plans, people.......

Excellent point - if all we choose to see is negative, we strip away our joy, our hopes, our aspirations...........and we see nothing but miserable all around us. We have to get beyond that and see the positive, the potential, and embrace that which makes us happy and whole! And if we are gloomy, that is what we spread to those around us - but if we present as happy and positive, we can enhance other's lives. and if we feel the love, we reflect it....................:)
