My feelings on this, you ask? : ) I'd say firstly, give the "new" gal a chance. You may find that actually being with someone in all the ways you mentioned and also physically (not through the internet, etc.) will bring you pleasure beyond what you can imagine. Truly give this woman a chance, without comparing her to the other. (I know, hard, but be fair...) Then, after a while, take a step back and see how you feel. You may be surprised to find that the long-distance person has lost their "pull". Jbean

amongst jaydubs.this was about the dog named "jehovah" by it's jw-hating owner.
so that when he got visited by them once again,he could shout "jehovah,attack!"..

Oh my GOD!!! I totally have forgotten about all those wacky "stories" told as if they were the gospel truth!!!! I shudder to think how I used to repeat them to "non believers" not even caring how they looked at me as if I were nuts!! HA! (ps: the Dog named Jehovah and that one about the sister going to the door and not being raped/killed 'cos of the angels must have been the two BIGGIES of our time... I'm on the east coast of the US and they were repeated for YEARS!!!)

Bill... I too would pray that you "hang in there" You are doing SUCH an important work, and if you D/A, then you are playing their games, as SYN said. You may (or may not) know it, but SO MANY people appreciate the hard work, sweat and tears you've put in so far. (Along with the others that help) The TV report was very, very powerful. So many of my non-JW friends just could NOT believe it and now will never speak to Witnesses when they come to their doors, again. And are also helping to "spread the word". My uncle was found DEAD this morning

he's taking it hard.
i was shocked to hear him say that he wanted me to be with the family.

Wow. I can't believe I had the same feeling. The chills went all along my arms! My (non-JW) boyfriend was looking at me in amazement the entire time the segement was on. He said my eyes were HUGE! Now I just have to sit through it again with my JW parents... hopefully they'll see the POINT! heh! Jbean
