" is simple enough, and your answer may be straightforward.
however, when i asked that of myself, i find that my answer is pretty complicated.
I come here because I have family still in, tiptoeing around subjects that I shouldn't have to.
I have been out so long that it isn't even the religion I grew up in. Sometimes I think the only thing that is unchanged is the disfellowshipping and the door to door. We need this forum to vent and learn why all the things that seemed "not right" were truly wrong. I am so glad it is still here.
there's a number of bible principles mentioned but ultimately, they say it's up to you.......... can you think of any other questions that we could ask to see if we can do something or not??

the one scripture i always think of is the one in revelation where it says that jehovah "will bring to ruin, those ruining the earth.
I am inclined to agree with the poster that said everyone has there own Armageddon.
Whether the earth itself will be destroyed (in my opinion) could be be determined if some idiot gets hold of the nuclear bomb.
well, i got dragged, kicking and screaming talked in to going to the assembly yesterday as a friend of mine was in the drama.
what a freaking waste of time interesting experience.
first of all, i had a tough time squeezing my larger than life ass bum into a seat that looked like it was made for a house-elf small child.

atheists are people who are "a-" (without) "theism" (a belief in god).
they are not "athiests"; they are not "athier" than everyone else, nor is "athy" a word.. .
this isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but it's a mistake i see every day on here and i thought it might be nice to have a topic we can bump just to periodically remind people of the proper spelling, especially since they are sometimes referring to their very own beliefs.
