  On Thursday January 24th it will rain somewhere.

  Mike Tyson will someday once again loose his temper.

  You Know will continue to post what he thinks is profound (nonsense) except for the times he tells us he's leaving.

  I expect to be right for 3 out of 3.

  On a more serious note, the cycles LaRouche was talking about have been fairly well understood (that is understood to the extent anything relating to economics can be undersood - see Chaos Theory)for some time. This is not new news. Business cycles come and go like waves on the ocean (hey here's another prediction: all incoming waves will be followed by outgoing waves). My financial planner was telling me several years ago that the bubble was going to burst sometime, and to plan accordingly.

  Do you think that the WT will ban the Internet?

  i think that it will happen.

  there is so much information about what really goes on.

  the hypocrasy, the scandals, the misinformation.

  I think they may attack this on a couple of levels. They did the same type of thing in the seventies with oral sex. They may attempt a ban, but when it fails back off from it. But that will be accompanied by lots and lots of comments on the line of "Strong Christians don't use the internet."

  Looking at porn or apostate sites will become DF'ing offenses, or at minimum something you will get marked for. And of course there will always be some spies around to let the elders know who is doing what on the internet.

  her former eastern washington congregation and against the governing body for not doing anything about her sexual molester.

  according to the news, that when she went to the elders to expose belize--the elders threatened to disfellowship her if she go to court.

  I'm surprized this didn't get picked up on the other side of the state, considering it's an Eastern Washington story.

  Unless you're stupid and burn it, no such thing as a bad potato. Bake it, fry it, mash it, all good. Parmesan and garlic are good, also bacon bits, chives, and sour cream. Chili works too.

  check out this month's watchtower calendar.. under the caption "preach the word" 6 illustrations are shown of people witnessing in different parts of the earth.. but it's only the yanks who travel by truck.

  the others have a horse, a camel, and their feet.. presumably it's indicative of something?

  the other day, i was messaged by a young jw guy (using yahoo messenger, where i am breezyone2001; chat me up, gang!).

  his opening line to me was, "why are you attacking the witnesses?

  " i responded by asking him in what way i was attacking the witnesses, and he said that he saw my name in a yahoo club for ex-jw's.

  I'm getting in a little late, but what I think I'm seeing here are some people talking past each other.

  I think that what Neon was trying to do was ask all of us how we got to where we are right now spiritually. He seems also to be saying that he is concerned about himself having a kneejerk reaction to WT doctrine in that he might reject it out of hand solely because it is a WT doctrine. That is a question all of us should ask ourselves.

  FYI I am a Christian, plain and simple. I became a Christian before I hooked up with the dubs. I THOUGHT that what they were telling me was the real stuff. When I found out it wasnt' I left. Just wish it hadn't taken 16 years to figure that out.
