Very "timely" WT information for my research of Hebrew and Greek Scriptures...

in summary, it's not needed to understand or compare the ancient hebrew and greek to our translations.

it can be "a very difficult task", "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing", i suppose so, if finding the mistakes in the nwt.

while they are promising them freedom, they themselves are existing as slaves to corruption.

Laying on of hands: Was done FAR before Jesus time....

this adds to some thoughts which had come to be lately from my studies..... jesus was sending the "spirit of truth".

also some had prayed that no unclean spirit, wicked spirit, or satan would enter them.

This adds to some thoughts which had come to be lately from my studies..... Jesus was sending the "spirit of truth". Also some had prayed that no unclean spirit, wicked spirit, or satan would enter them.

It's interesting the differences, and when reading about Jesus expelling demons, etc, I sometimes wonder if taken into today (those who believe all), someone spiritual blind/sick etc, that possession isn't what we would have thought it to be, but very subtle.

Just a thought at the moment.

the stupid thing posted before I put in the content lol, any of you who still believe in God and the bible, has any of you baptised after 1985 had it redone. If so, tell us what process you went through. (who did it, where, what did the one doing it say prior or did you say anything, etc )

Wasn't there some "prophecy" about a 7 year treaty?

(first of all, i don't believe this "prophecy" stuff.

i suspect much of "revelation" is actually a scripted blueprint that *they* are following to make it appear as though it's been prophesied.).

god's body is a lot like a human body; the brains of the operation are in the top of the pyramid and the bigger organizations with push are the muscles.

I read somewhere, on some jewish forum, that to Jews, the hebrew word for week meant something like decade for them I believe. So I think 70 weeks would be like 700 years. I gotta check again, but on that forum, it ended right on the year Jesus was born I believe....

Hebrew speaking Jews / Messianic Jews

while i was trying to get some answers yesterday about hebrew translations, i emailed from a jewish website in which they had some hebrew writings and the torah on there.

i was asking if a hebrew translation to english was done correctly, it was a scripture with the word hell, and he said it was done correctly, except that the word wasn't hell but pit, grave, etc, that those scriptures never teach of a hell, it was apostasized and jews know those scriptures to mean plain old death.

see, so more then just jw's know hell isn't real or taught in the bible.

Daniel 8:11 - He even exalted himself AS HIGH as the prince of the hosts, and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away, (what do you think the daily sacrifices are?), and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.

This prophesy is another one speaking of the discusting thing causing desolation standing in a holy place. It's quite amazing how we look at 1 or 2 scriptures of a major bible prophecy, but there are infact, TONS repeating the same thing.
