so, i'm visiting family this week who are all jws.
yesterday, it started with one of them talking about a co giving her some points on time keeping for service.
she is now writing a letter before she drives to service, so she can count her drive time.
When I was a pioneer I used to stress about time. I had to. Thats what it is all about. Putting in time.
When I go on service with pioneers it is a joke. It is easy to tell they are trying to count the maximum hours while doing the minimum amount of preaching.
this is the situation.. ten years ago two fleshly brothers and their wives, [ all are jw's and one is an elder] defrauded an elderly couple [ she was a jw/ he was friendly]out of the possession of their home and property.
one year after that, they took the life savings of the elderly couple and parked it in an account, without their knowledge.
when the old couple found out what happened, the four co-conspirators refused to return anything.
What will they be doing? Hiding assets? Crapping their pants? I don't know? I've never been much of a mind reader

Fraud happens in the Jws more than we think. It is just dealt with by the elders and anyone who wants to go public with it is threatened with removal of privileges or dfing.
Lets face it, Jws are gullible and there are predators within the fold. I know of 3 cases of fraud that were never taken to the authorities. If I know of three there are many many more.
What are these people thinking ? They might be thinking you are not serious about calling in the Mounties.
i am so angry and i need to vent.
a jw who was hired to be a caregiver for my grandfather in the early stages of dementia went and married him over the objection of family, the gal and the va social worker.
this happened several years ago.
Did anyone ever mention how old the caregiver woman is? I didn't read all the comments.

There are no children and she is healthy. I think she just expects a free ride.

if muslim is supposed to be the religion of peace, jehovah's witnesses has to be the religion of guilt..
Guilt and shame is how the watchtower motivates it's free labour force.
They also use death threats too( Armageddon)

the longer she stays 'in' the greater her sense of entitlement?.
that any convo immediately reverts to the wt 'party line'.
My wife isn't like that. She never has been. I was always the "spiritual" one.
i know a couple of jws in my town that are both very wealthy.
one has upscale retail stores and owns a property development company.
the other has a large service company and owns a lot of real estate.
These two guys got rich off the backs of their hardworking jw employees
