I saw the "We Like the Moon" thing before, but I couldn't remember what it was called or where I saw it, but when I saw the Quizno's Subs I recognized them right away...I dunno the first time I saw "We Like the Moon" I was like, "what the hell?!" But it quickly grew on me...frankly I think the commercials rock and I constantly sing them in my car (this might be why I am single). I like quirky stupid stuff tho.
ok...time for some fun...it's friday for god sakes...lol.

how have you reconciled that with freedom of choice?.
i do not believe in fate in an absolute, linear sense.. i do believe that there is purpose to all things.
Reading Romeo and Juliet in my freshmen classes we just talked about fate today...("I am fortune's fool" and the "star-crossed lovers"...fate is everywhere in this play).
We were talking about how Lord Capulet blames Juliet's death on fate and not the fact that he rushed her into marrying Paris.
One of my students said, "Fate seems to be a nice way to remove any responsiblity from yourself". Pretty profound for 15 if you ask me.
I have to agree. I don't believe in fate. It just doesn't make sense in my life. This of course could be my need to be a control-freak manifesting itself. I like to think I make who I am. If I do or don't do something, if something does or does not happen for me it has nothing to do with fate.
That's the cynic in me I guess.

I worked at an afterschool program for elementary kids. Kind of a daycare, but at school. It was fun, I pretty much colored with the girls, played kick ball with the boys, and played tag with all the kids. It was a good first job. Just a few hours after school when I was 15.

ok, i was talking to my g/f today and she said that she needed to get away for awhile, move to california with her cousin and stuff because she couldn't stand being at her house anymore.
whats even more is that she said that its getting to where she doesn't want to get up for service and she doesn't want to go to meetings anymore and she thinks she's becoming "spiritually weak".
so she wants to move to california to see if that'll "help" her in her current state of weakness.
Cramming anything down her throat when she is feeling vulnerable is not going to help. You have to let her make her own choices...if you force something on her and she regrets it later, she will look to you and lay the blame at your feet.
Be there for her, listen to her concerns and supliment it with your "experiences", but handing her Crisis of Conscience probally won't do her much good at this stage of the game.
my friend was kidding around this weekend that he would like to run for president (we were watching some lame political commentary on the news.
) i tried to explain to him that he had way too many skeletons in his closet to ever be elected, but he thinks people would vote for him on his sheer honesty.
i gave him a "mock" interview that went something like this:.
I have no idea what his politics are...I am a strictly issues kinda girl...whichever canidate most represents my views I give my vote to.
