New Light on FDS?

anyone hear anything about their being "new light" on the fds class?

i've heard that it's 2-3 years down the pike, but that the "new light" will greatly alter their role........is this some "dukie" in the rumor mill or is there something to it?

i've thought about this matter at length and i still feel the same way about soulfulness and spirituality.

if a family member is df....or whatever....if jw are supposed to be christian....why do the cut you off....god is a loving god who loves all his children...and why is it that you have to go through an "exit" interview...like its a job or something?

there are many unanswered question i have...but this is just one of them to start...it seems to me that its hypocritical...

What does the average Witness know?

i have to wonder what the average witness today knows?

i guess they are under orders not to talk to anyone that might actually be able to inform them of any facts that are negative or unflattering to the society, but what have they found out anyway, through whatever means, even the publications?.

1. do they know that russell got a lot of dates from the measurements of pyramids, including 1914?

True prophecy about the WTS and a novel approach

as i sit back and watch the pedophilia scandal unfold, it occurs to me that someone connected to the watchtower got it right - they prophesied what we are seeing.

my friend jim penton in "apocalypse delayed" wrote about the impact of "brain drain" on the organization.

no organization can afford to continually lose its brightest members, yet that is exactly what the wts has done for years.. what is the price of this constant "dumbing down"?

i've been df'd since last september.

i haven't heard from my ex-best friend in about 6 months.

should i write letters to a few brothers that i am friends with in my cong (i can't speak to now alot) and the other congs in adelaide (i only see some of them every 6 months in my old congs) that i've been in, that tells them the real reason why i da'd myself.

(to cut any rumours off).

i really don't want to leave it all hanging up in the air for them....... any thoughts??

i'm heading down a path i think alot of you have gone down... and i'm certainly not looking for any sympathy here.

i've read some experiences here and at other sites that shows me that alot of folks have gone through alot worse than i am.... basically, a year ago i left brooklyn bethel after a five year stint.

already sick of structured man-worship, i struggled for while to pretend, but my heart wasn't in it.
