  Why all your Witness friends are like Prostitutes!!!!

  witness friends looooove you....when your putting in the witnessing/meeting hours.

  when you agree like a robot to everything the watchtower says.....{read...underline.....give comment.....repeat} like prostitutes who adore you when your "paying" ...if the money stops flowing they are gone!

  people you've known for 15 years....you took them to hospital....lent them money.....grieved with them....gone.

  Its a spot on parallel.

  Try being an elder.......helping everyone, going out in the middle of the night, talk after talk after convention part, crying with people, helping your fellow elders keep their marriages together.........and even more importantly: spending YEARS of you life being all the elders kids go to 'bro'.....not their dads............YOU.

  Its a complete and utter joke.

  Their friendship is as deep as their private ambitions to be around a well liked brother and what it can do for them

  When you're in need.....GOOD LUCK......when YOUR kid is in need....GOOD LUCK.

  The most fake, gossipy, slanderous people I've ever known.

  How Did You Find New Friends?

  i'm painfully curious on this subject.. when you have devoted your entire life, your entire social circle, everything you know......to this religion....when you fade away, how did you make new friends?

  how did you replace all those people you thought were your friends?.

  on top of fading away....... i lost a 'relationship' with a 'sister' due to not wanting to continue as a jw.

  When you have devoted your entire life, your entire social circle, everything you know......to this religion....when you fade away, how did you make new friends? How did you replace all those people you THOUGHT were your friends?

  On top of fading away....... I lost a 'relationship' with a 'sister' due to not wanting to continue as a JW. Now all THOSE friends are dogging me for 'dogging' her......

  Wow........ I know I will survive this..... but I had not considered what it would be like to pull this in my 40's.........everything.....everyONE is gone.

  This is really surreal.

  Were you Stalked or Chased After Once you Exited the JW's by Elders ?

  i tried to fade off the map by moving 30 miles initially in 2004 after i exited in late 2003 .

  the first several years they didn't bother me.

  i ran into a elder from my former congregation in late 2005 in an antique store - he tried telling me i was wrong for stopping attending meetings.

  My god.......when I read these posts I feel my blood pressure rising.

  No one has come after me, because they know better. Someone would be eating my elbow....and then I'd sue their ass. ...... and they all know I'd do it.

  I went to a memorial for a dear sister that just died. One of the elders I've served with for years was on his way to me.....he got within 5 feet and I looked at him with eyes that could kill and lipped 'don't even think about it'.......he stopped.....and busted a move in the other direction.

  I don't know why people put up with this stuff. Have them arrested for stalking if they are outside your home or around your kids. I was a very well known elder in my area...........I realize that is now to my benefit. They all know I'm not kidding.......... I'll kick their ass if they come around me or my family.

  Elder called last night and they are stopping by tonite for a 'visit'.......

  surprised me that he actually followed up on his word and called .

  it will be strange after four yrs.

  to have them in our house .my husband was not happy to hear it will be two brothers coming over, because he really does not want to feel we are being counseled .

  How disgusting is it that "shepherds" have let you wander for 4 years and still had the nerve to say something about putting it in writing?

  women, speak freely if you will.

  were there any hot men in your congregations, i mean, men you wouldn't think twice about marrying?

  I can't believe the young guys in their 20's and 30's that make no effort to take care of themselves. Overweight, bad grooming, socially inept........

  I would look at all the cute sisters in that age range and wonder why they had any interested in a divorced 40 year old!!!!

  Oh wait.....I was an elder........that made me special......LOL LOL

  Ugly Sisters

  o.k i have noticed that most female jws are ugly.and by ugly i mean ugly.they won't work out,they are fat and won't go on a diet (some female teens won't even shave their legs),they neglect their appearance/body in general.any opinions?.

  p.s many will eventually get fat after marriage.

  I think I would like to meet babygirl30............... ;)

  There were many attractive sisters....however, just as many as let themselves go. I can't believe the brothers 20 years younger than me that have let themselves go, are overweight, flabby, bad grooming......and sit around playing video games in their underwear. They are every bit as bad..........

  The one thing about the really attractive girls is that their personality usually didn't match. I was a single elder......yeah, you can imagine......I never really knew if they liked me or the relative 'fame' that came from dating me. Status driven and materialistic. NOT attractive.

  had some fun recently talking to an elder i know and he mentioned about the elders school he would be going to in december.

  you should have seen his face when i said i bet he was looking forward to the new elders manual that he would be getting...

  i told my mom that i'm not going back to the meetings.

  i wasn't planning on telling her that but i've been going through some hard times with my husband and just got fed up with her hounding me.

  so she asked if i'll still consider going back to the meetings and i just flat out told her no and that it wasn't up for discussion.
