PSacto:
Jesus came for all, he died for all and his Gospel is for all.
Indeed, ALL are invited, but not ALL are chosen.
You will NOT find any passage in the NT that says that the Gospel, scriptures, New Covenant or mediation is ONLY for the annointed.
I think this thought is a bit backward, so to speak (no offense intended). It really is, the scriptures of the Old Testament were written ONLY for the nation of Israel. The Revelation of the Apostle John was written for the Christian (read “Anointed”) congregation. The Gospel is for all to hear as it is an “invitation” to enter into the New Covenant. And as for the mediation, it too is for ALL who are or have been chosen, but ALL are invited.
BUT, even if it did, since being annointed means having/being sealed by the HS and, by the words of Paul, anyone the proclaime Jesus is Lord is sealed by the HS, then ALL that believe in Jesus ARE annointed.
Close, but not exactly. ‘Being anointed means having/being sealed by the Holy Spirit,’ yes. But not all who believe in Jesus are anointed. There are millions on earth today who believe in Jesus. That does not necessarily make them anointed. There is quite a difference. Being anointed means having been chosen AND having received the holy spirit from Jaheshua. Receiving the holy spirit is in fact the evidence of your having been chosen. It is the “token” of which Paul spoke.
Have you received the holy spirit? If, yes. Excellent! If not, then you should request it from Him. He and His Father, Jah, give freely.

Regarding the three days and three nights:
Jaheshua died on a Thursday afternoon - Thursday = First Day; Friday = Second Day; Saturday = Third Day.
Jaheshua was resurrected early on the First Day of the week (our Sunday early morning) when it was still dark; thus,
Thursday Night = First Night; Friday Night = Second Night; Saturday Night (and early Sunday morning resurrection) = Third Night.
Thus, you get three days and three nights.

by AGuest into the household of god, israel, and those who go with... may you have peace.
as some of you have witnessed lately, i have been involved in a bit of "pushing" with others.
some of you were uncomfortable and i totally understand that, but as i stated, i was doing what i was directed and heard (well, 95% of the time - to say otherwise would be untrue).

Dear BXJW: You wrote,
Dear SA, (and I do mean the "Dear" sincerely as a fellow Christian)
I am sure that SA will honor your request not to respond to you here in this thread any longer (unless, of course, you should change your mind and take back your request). However, because SA is a dear dear friend to me, I shall take the liberty of speaking up in her defense, so to speak.
You quoted her and wrote in response:
"I cannot tell you the prayers... and tears... that I have undergone during this time"
I believe you but the problem, imo, is that most here have at one time also prayed with tears and much suffering trying to understand why it is that men who claimed to be anointed and who claimed to be followers of Christ were in fact not what they claimed but insisted that we believe they were.
I totally get what you state here. I too admit to having cried out to Jah with strong outcries and tears concerning something that was extremely important to me. I have posted my experience on this board as to what happened as a result of those outcries and tears. (I can’t remember in which thread I posted that but it’s there to be found.)
You should know that the problem is because the men you refer to “claim” to be anointed rather than “are” anointed. We were warned. We were warned of this very thing. Our Lord Himself warned us of these men. (Matthew 7:15; 24:11, 24,25) So we really shouldn’t have been surprised too much that these things happened in our lives. And, having been warned, can we rightly be mad/angry at the person who warned us? Really?
They tore us to pieces, they stumbled us, they tore from us our trust in God and the Bible. We too have suffered with many tears!
Indeed! They did tear many of us to pieces. But how can you expect a wolf not to do what wolf does? (Matthew 7:15; Acts 20:29) They’re wolves.
I, like many here, will never trust another man or woman with my faith and beliefs again. Never!
Yes! Amen! And praise Jah for that. But weren’t we also warned about that too? Isn’t it written in the Bible: “Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. . . .”? (Psalm 146:3) And how many times have we heard that verse inside the Kingdom Hall? How many times? And yet, we did it anyway, didn’t we. Even when we were told not to do such a thing. We did it anyway. Whom can we blame?
I trust the Christ. I trust God. No man, no woman.
Excellent!
And when a man or woman claims to speak for the Christ there is an instant revulsion in my heart and a red flag that goes up, something like being exposed to an allergen that has sensitized my religious immune system.
Wow! Now that is a metaphor. I totally get where you’re coming from—truly I do. While SA speaks what she speaks, writes what she write, SA has told people here on this board countless times that they should not listen to her but rather that they should go to Christ directly themselves and do what the Father has stated: “Listen to him [God’s Son].” Over and over and over again she has stated this. SA has told people not to trust her but go to the Christ. While I understand your revulsion at what you describe, I think in this situation with SA, your revulsion is misplaced.
You said above, "Again, I bid you the GREATEST of love and peace, and I AM..." (emphasis mine)
Lady Lee is right, if we disagree with you better it is not to open your threads. To open your threads is for me the same as an abused woman who opened the threads of a man who claimed that some women need a little abuse now and then to keep them in line. Better to leave it alone and pass it by than to open the thing and live again the hurt that I am trying to recover from. The hurt that came from religious leaders who insisted that they sincerely represented God and Christ.
I understand. But, please, do not think too harshly of SA. She comes here and writes from a kind place in her heart. I know SA real well as many others here on this board do also. She comes from a kind and loving place in her heart.
When SA writes that she wishes you peace—she means it.
You are, I AM? Then I wish you peace and the love of God upon you.
I am sure she will appreciate that.

"Do Not Forsake the Gathering of Yourselves..."
by AGuest into the household of god, israel, and those who go with... may you have peace!.
very recently, another dear one asked me whether i attended church and when i responded that i do not attend, but i am the church... as are all of us who are "living stones" in the temple of god... the one responded and asked as to our lord's address to the seven congregations in his revelation to john, as well as the admonition stated at hebrews 10:25. unfortunately, neither of these support church attendance, as i shared with the one asking of me.. when our lord addressed the seven "congregations/churches" in his revelation to john, he was not addressing a literal congregation in, for example, laodecia.
if that were the case, (1) then no other congregations/churches were addressed but those seven and thus, the information is for none but those seven, which is unreasonable; (2) the congregations met in houses and thus there was more than one congregation/church in, say, ephesus.

To the G.E.D. dummy who wrote:
“Only those who accept what Shelby says are "living stones in the temple of God."”
And YOU were an elder? (I’d keep that quiet if I were you.) Damn ignorant elder!
AGuest has quoted what someone else wrote long ago. These words aren’t hers. She’s just quoting them to prove her point.
Mon Dieu! You are ignorant!

Leaving WT:
JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH is a creative person.
Indeed He is, LWT. Indeed He is. He was there with His Father “in the beginning. . . .” Just as He continues working, so does His Father.
Sir 82:
I think it would be fun to watch TV with Jesus sorry, Jaheshua....
Your self-correction is “noted.” And, it probably would be fun.
Undercover:
You mean LeVar Burton is the word of Christ?
I shoulda paid more attention to Roots when it was on...
You can certainly. It may behoove you “to pay more than the usual attention”—now.
The Gladiator
We are less than ants in real terms. Why would any 'one' responsible for this mind boggling achievement,
care one jot how humans pronounce, spell or conjecture the name they attach to the force behind the universe?
Well, perhaps because He loves his only-begotten Son. Your comment implies that “things” are more important than “persons.” That’s a mistake many parents sadly sadly make, to their detriment and the detriment of their entire family. And especially to those whom they “claim” to love.
Remember what Jaheshua stated to Saul:
“And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”--Acts 26:14.
To G.E.D.d.,
Nevermind. . . .

Peace, Dear Shelby. My Lord instructed me to tell that if you say you are not going to do something and then do it, you are telling an untruthitude and a falsity. He also told me it was OK to use made up words like like truthitude and falsity.
Agreed that it is perfectly okay "to use made up words like like truthitude and falsity." However, just so YOU KNOW, "falsity" IS a legitimate word. YOU didn't make up THAT one. (Somebody else did, long time ago.) Sorry to point it out to you.
I know, I can be a bit pendantic. But that's what comes from working in a law firm for many years--occupational hazard--they call it.

Guys/Gals:
Wars happen EVERYDAY today. Your own nations do it. People get killed right and left, including children, including infants! Why is there no TRUE outcry against the U.S. when it does this? Against the allies of the U.S. who do this? Noooo . . . only when it happens against the U.S. What hypocrisy! You condemn God for supposedly killing infants. WHY DON'T YOU CONDEMN MEN whom you know are doing it right now today for killing the innocents whether they be infants or grown?
