8ANY CHANCE THE GB MEMBERS COULD BE SUBPEONED???
by Mary inif any of the child molestation cases actually go to court, or if any of those witnesses that get disfellowshipped sue the society, what are the chances that some of the governing body members would get subpeoned to testify in court?
to me, this would be the best thing that could happen: these morons having to testify in open court and having to answer some pretty tough questions about their absurd policies and why these people have been disfellowshipped.. they'd look as stupid as freddie franz did when he was in court and said that jehovah was the editor of the watchtower since 1931..............i can see these bozos saying the same thing:.
q: who decided that nothing would be done to pedophiles in the congregations, if they are elders?.

JESUS NOT THE MEDIATOR?
by Mary inguess i hadn't been paying "close attention" at the meetings a few years ago......apparently, jesus is not the mediator between god and men like the bible says, he's only the mediator between the 144,000 and jehovah - i guess the rest of us can go straight to hell in a handbasket...... .
how long has this bizarre theory been around??!!
i was absolutely stunned to hear this one, as i had never heard it before.

Volunteer Work is Never Encouraged
by Mary ini always find it so annoying whenever there's a wt study on the good samaritan.
no one at the hall ever suggests that the idea behind it, is that we should be helping our "enemies" in a charitable way, such as feeding them, clothing them, helping them out in a physcial way.....nope they always turn it around to where it only means we should be preaching to our enemies, cause lord only knows, actually helping someone out in a charitable way means less than nothing in the organization.. anyhoo, the last time we had an article on that (couple of years ago), i specifically put up my hand and said "this is not talking about preaching to our enemies.
the samaritan did not preach to the jew nor vise versa.

CANADA DAY vs. INDEPENDENCE DAY!

i was coming home this evening from some ex-witness friends of mine (after part-y-ing), and i had the windows on my car down, playing one of elvis' tapes..........i was stopped at the stop light and i noticed several people sitting on the street giving me dirty looks and i couldn't figure out why at first.......then it dawned on me: they were waiting to see the canada day parade and i was playing "dixie" on my car cd.........(hehehehehehehehe........) i guess not a smart thing to do........ the parade sucked dead rocks and i was just wondering if it was only in my locale, or if other canadians also experienced a crap-o-rama parade.........seeing as this is the first july 4th party since 9-11, i assume that americans will be going all-out in their display of patriotism (i can't blame em) and i wanted to see what others had to say about their country's celebration.......hell up here, all the stores, malls, everything closes up like a ghost town - nothing's open on canada day............

A NEW METHOD OF PREACHING!
by Mary ineveryone remember a few years ago with the gb decided that the rank and file witness just wasn't bugging the hell out of enough people because no one was ever home saturday morning?
they came up with the brainstorming idea to approach people in parking lots!!!
(ya, that goes over reeeeeeeal well)......as if going to the person's home to tell them about their imminent death wasn't bad enough, now ya gotta tell them when they're out shopping!

I'm So Disgusted................
by Mary ini'm absolutely disgusted as what the gb members are letting go on inside the organization with regards to pedophiles, but i guess it shouldn't come as any great surprise after all the other crap they've pulled over the years.. one can only assume that their sheer arrogance and/or stupidity in their "we can't do anything without two witnesses" policy, is a sign that they're either possessed or they're all getting collective alzheimers disease.......it's ridiculous to pretend that child abuse doesn't go on in the congregations - it goes on in every single religious organization on earth, simply because you have imperfect people in every single religious organization on earth.. if child molesters within the congregation were pursued with the same gusto and enthusiasm as those that buy lottery tickets or question doctrines, they'd be doing something.
one can only assume that none of the governing body members have any children (thank god!
) or they'd never come up with such a stupid policy.
