  here you have a body of elders who MUST ASK WHAT TO DO and the concern as you can see is not for the publishers but for the Legal backlash that the org might face

  just think sister old has this guy over to work on her sink

  how nice of the bro and the next thing you know she is dead

  ARE THERE any lurkers out there who feel that they have no right to know that the jw in thier house has been involved in this type of conduct

  Does fear control the JW's?

  does fear control the jws?.

  i notice amount several jw that a deep kind of fear are a long time partner in the jw person.

  this combine with a at long times experience of ignoring facts is why many stays even they see a lot of changes from the borg and sometimes even bad things .

  THERE IS book called "Emotional Blackmail"

  it shows that for many folks they live in

  FOG:

  F----FEAR
  O----OBLIGATION
  G----GUILT

  And as we all know that when it is dark the fog will hang around for ever , yet the moment sunlight hits it -- it dissappears

  same with WT keeping it's members in the dark in terms of info on the net - allowing it's adults to read and examine information freely to see if it stands or falls when held up to thier beliefs is forbidden

  if you go to barnes and noble site and look at the reviews of rays' book you will see that many jw dogged the book

  what is most interesting is the fact that one poster pointed out for all NONJW who read the reviews that the "Loyal" who are dogging rays book would be raked across the coals like children by thier very own faith for merely reading the book

  it is so sad to see a person not GET THE POINT

  they have read a book that if caught in thier home would result in them being kicked out and yet they fail to see that is it not a little strange that your faith would kick you out regardless of whethter you agreed with rays' book or not - but for merely reading it

  i showed the review comments to some NONJW here at work and reminded them that these same guys if CAUGHT WOULD BE SHAFTED

  so as long as wt can keep it dark when it comes to info jw will continue to live in the FOG

  but as we all know info is like the sunlight it burns away the FOG

  i can't believe the BOYS AT BETHEL have gone completly wack

  THEY fail to realize that in the year 2001 there is no privacy anymore

  any goofy letter they send out will be on the Net before the INK dries

  these guys are so out of touch with the real world it is very sad

  as one poster stated some reporter shows up at the hall with a copy of this letter and preceeds to laugh in the face of the poor janitor elder

  JEHOVAH HAS NO ORGANIZATION

  the resident jws who post here and of course the jws around the world all feel that god has an organization and that they are it.

  further, they ask 'where else would you go' if you talk about leaving their organizaton.

  the jws talk about the organization in such terms as "it's the truth," or "wait on the organization," or "don't run ahead of the organization" as though god's divine name were really organization.. here is something that jws, and maybe some ex-jws need to understand: god (whether you call him jehovah, yahweh, jesus, buddah, allah, or any other fine name does not have any organization in heaven or on earth.

  you need to understand that YK is what jw call a Spiritual Loser- in the org he like fred would not be entrusted to carry the mike on sunday

  when i first ran across this guy i thought he was a real Player on the wt scene you know Sub CO or City Overseer, etc

  then i found out he holds no position not even a flunky MS, but instead is a Young guy claiming to be ANOINTED

  ONCE i knew that about my man he then became an on going JOKE

  if there is one thing i know about the org you are either a player or you are a Flunky if you are a Male and my boy YK according to all of wt rules is a Flunky

  now to prove my point notice the very words of the WT head PR man describing how they view the guys who are elders

  J.R. Brown, public affairs director for the church, Both Brown and Moreno said that the elders, who volunteer and are essentially untrained clergy,

  #######now notice how they view guys like YK who hold not position at all#######

  But he said because of the church's structure, the fact that such a member, if male, who would have fewer rights in the congregation, would not be serving in a leadership role would alert members that "he obviously lacks spiritual maturity."

  so as i stated they view guys like YK as a loser and spiritually weak

  so that tells you where he stands with his own group

  so the net is his only outlet- so don't take him too serious instead sit back and enjoy the show

  first off, i want to say that i am very grateful for this place where i can speak whatevers on my mind.

  ive often been amazed at the role that the wtbts & gb put themselves into, all the while claiming that they are not promoting their own standards, and understandings.

  heres just a little research ive done lately on what it means to be a sect.

  Newbie saying hello and glad to be here

  hello, i've been lurking the board for quite sometime now and i have also read crisis of conscience.

  my hubby and i stopped attending the meetings since december and had our first christmas in 6 years.

  it was fun although the feelings of guilt are still within us.. we've been visited by the elders twice but we managed to keep them at bay.

  CAL SAYS

  What funny is, we never miss the meetings and the 'friends'. We never felt so free to do our own thing and projects we have neglected around the house and yard. Our eyes are also opened to the fact that the worldlings around us are actually better than the loving brotherhood in the organization. We now view our workmates, neighbors etc., without prejudice and without judgement. It felt so great. I can now see the good in everyone.

  i've always been taught that each disciple of christ has a scriptural obligation to preach, and to do so in imitation of jesus and his disciples.

  they did this by house to house, in synagogues, and in the marketplaces.

  this is one thing that has always kept me close to jehovah's witnesses.

  i have to agree, if a person accepts the bible point to preach the issue indeed becoms ONE OF WHAT TO PREACH - while it may speak of the kingdom, which is fine- almost any honest jw who has been on this site has to at least admit alot of what JW preach from house to house is not biblical after 3 weeks

  what was preached today maynot be preached the next day

  take alternative service- a bible student has a son who is 18 and goes before the army board he is asked will he accept an alternative job- he says no and shows the members all the scriptural reasons from the wt publications as to why he can't

  so off the send him to prison for 4 yrs
  well in 3 days his mom gets the lastest wt on lord have mercY IT has changed and her son can take the job at the hospital

  but it's too late for her son- so now we have a woman who is studying , her son who is studing all of a sudden realize that God can change his mind at a moments notice

  can you just imagine who that home bible study is going to go this week at this womans house

  smile

  so preaching is fine , but if what you preach ain't worth the breath you use to speak it out of your mouth then what is the value

  Stafford also got himself in hot water on H20 when he was dialoguing with AlanF. After one of their discussions, Stafford tried to login as a different user and pretended to be an objective bystander. Using what he thought was an alterego, he commended himself for his great debating technique and pronounced himself the winner of the debates with AlanF. Unknown to him was that there was a way on the old H20 board to tell if someone was using another identity when posting. When Greg Stafford was confronted with his dishonesty, instead of apologizing he claimed he was being persecuted and falsely accused. (Does this sound familiar?)
