The UN is on the verge of banning religion - JWs favorite rumor

the un is on the verge of banning religion.. why is this rumor constantly being brought up by the jws?.

the un does not have the power to ban religion, such an act would go against its very charter and its declaration of human rights.. many of the member nations are islamic and would never vote to ban religion as it would undermine their own very existence.. so the idea that the un would or could ban or even consider banning religion is unrealistic.

never going to happen.. but the jws have been whispering that "the un is going to ban religion" for decades....why?

They have been telling it for more the 60 years and nothing happened.....

On the contrary, in the ex-communist countries that they banned religion, after the falling of communism we have see that people turned to their religion routs. In Russia for instance Orthodox Church gained lot of believers, got back the Churches after of many years of persecution by the communists and showed that people didn't lost their faith in God, and basically people show that they need to have faith in to a "Superior Power".

It is only a rumor in order to keep the followers under their bonds, and keep them under the status of fear!!!

UN CANNOT bann religion, because we have many countries that they have strong religious bonds:

Can they ban Orthodox Christianity from: Greece, Russia, Ucraine, Roumania, Serbia, Georgia, Bulgaria, just to mention few?

Can they ban Catholic Christians from: Italy, Spain, France, the entire Latin America that they are Catholics?

Can they Ban Muslims from: Saudia Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Allgeria, Egypt, Syria, just to mention few of the countries?

Can they Ban Hinduism and Budhism in India and China, that they are the 2/3 of the earths Population?

THE ANSWER IS A BIG NOOOO....

U.N CANNOT DO THAT, AND EVEN THEY DON'T HAVE THE POWER TO DO IT...BECAUSE U.N. FOR MORE THAN 60 YEARS IS A POWERLESS ORGANIZATION....

Sorry for posting 3 times the same thing, but there was something wrong with the connection...Anyway I was always find it interersting their subliminals image.

Actually it was the first subject that lead me to question WT. I mean if God lives in Bethel, how can he allow Satan to put all those demons faces, occult signs,like the one you just show. It is the same occult sign found in the "Live for Ever" book, a thief with jewellery, having the same jewel that the Pharisse is wearing!!!! Strange coincidence?

No! They are repeading over and over again the same images and occults signs. Maybe WT still kept their early Masonic routs and Occult connections.

I have been through many other books, but only WT's have those strange faces, and occult signs. WHY?

Do you consider your time as a JW wasted time??

many of us have devoted a lot of time and energy to the jw's at the expense of other things like education , planing for retirement , family time just to name a few.. i don't consider it all wasted time there was a lot of good i learnt however i'm doing things now as a jw i never would have.. i don't have the same time pressure and never fell guilty about taking a lot of time out for myself as one elder said to me"if we don't keep you brothers real busy in the work of the kingdom you get swallowed up by the world" .

From Rutherford -2008 Watchtower ="dont have kid's till after Armagedon!"

yes i thought rutherford's policy on kid's was dead and the society had wised up....until i read the new "witnesses only" watchtower study magazine...compare.. rutherford's last book "children" 1942 = p.281 "wait until after armagedon to bring children into the world...it is only afew years before the other sheep are gathered to the lord, until armagedon...those with infants during armagedon will have greater woe...it would be a far greater difficulty to care for them during the tribulation.".

watchtower 2008 april 15 p.19 {picture of a middle aged couple witnessing with question: why do some christian couples decide not to have children?

} paragraph 12 "single or childless for a noble purpose.....numerous couples have decided to remain childless....they often do so to remain freer to serve jehovah...they are willing to place kingdom interests above some of the privileges that go with marriage...jehovah will not forget their work, and the love they show for his name...there will be a great tribulation...doubtless, it will be a difficult time for all of us-adults and children alike.".

Yeah how sad it is. They are only copying paste themselves. WT never changes in this matters. I wish that they could follow their own advice. For sure they wouldn't have left any Witnesses from the days of Rutherford if they didn't have children, since the increase is basically JW's kids.

I mean the GB does not have a sense at all of what they are saying. If JW's don't have kids, no increase...Can they understand that they are cutting the branch that they are sitting

Watchtower Question from readers= Slams hunting??? Why???

even though the bible does not condemn hunting watch them push their personal opinion and trun it into watchtower law.. watchtower dec 1 2007 p.31 "how should christians view hunting?

Okey I don't like hunting, I like fishing since I live in an Island. So is wrong to go fishing? It is a personal opinion. Some might like to hunt deers, or wild pigs. and others like fishing. It is a matter of taste.

Those REVELATION BOOK changes in full

a recent thread ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/139118/1.ashx ) raised the issue of charles taze russell not being the first president of the watchtower... it appears to be an argument of semantics because the society had a different name (as one poster pointed out in the thread).

the watchtower society obviously has some embarassment over this issue because the amendments to the revelation book dealt with this :.

It is amazing how WT does change. CHAMELEON BODY....

As you know I'm Greek, and the first edition of the Revalation book they had the old Greek script of the Book of Revelation. It was so emparesing to see how they twist the Bible and specially the meaning of the Greek words. For instance: At Chapter 19:1 it says clearly that"a voice of a great multitude was heard in Heavens". Since we all know WT's crap theology they are saying that they are in earth!!!

I saw the new book, and it is even worsed. They change from the Greek Script to the NWT....For sure it is better for them because now it fits their crap theology. On the contrary the old book wasn't good enough to mislead, due to the old Greek text.

But that was 20 years ago, I'm 40, out from the WT since 2000, and for sure the young JW's or those who became after, have no clue regarding the old book. They will just say is "old light"

I didn't wanted to go through the whole new book,"but I kept few copies of the old", but the changes are obviously...

The most funny thing is that JW's they escpect us to take them seriously regarding their "gospel". A gospel that changes every 15-20 years, due to their unability to understand the simple meaning of the scriptures.

What really amazes me is how can WT was able to fool, around 30,000 Greeks, by twisting the Bible, specially with their NWT, and those people accept it without argument?

For Christ sake you are Greek and you have the privelage to have the Bible in your Mother language, and you are accepting a mistranslation of your own language by a banch of false prophets made in U.S.A.

It is just amazing what brainwashing can do

Do we want Sharia Law? Do we want the Muslim faith to become the dominant faith that by sheer democratic law can be permitted to over take us.

I pity the victims of Islam, those in, those not in and those afraid of the potential growth of an evil cult that proves itself in the second chapter of the Koran that claims 'A woman is worth half of a man.'

That in itself says everything and that is why we have a lot to fear.

Muslims they DEMAND from us to ACCEPT their Sharia, build them their special toilets, to stop ringing our Church Bells, and many other things that they DEMAND. But Muslims can come over Europe and in the West, DEMAND the respect of their religion from us, but they don not respect our faith(no matter were you belong)

Can a Christian go and live in Countries like Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Algeria, and demand from the local authorities not to have the loud speakers loud when they pray 5 times a day, because it is noisy??? Will the Muslims accept from us to have wine in the Communion? The story of the Muslims is one way. They DEMAND, DEMAND, DEMAND, but they give NOTHING.

But what about the things that they insult other humans and specially women, that they have it as CORAN LAW? There are hundreds of thousands of women in all the Muslim countries that they are suffering. Not ot mention those who are killed or brudaly raped. In Pakistan there was a woman that it was jailed for a stupid reason, she was raped repeadetly from the Policemen, and at the end SHE WAS ACCUSED FOR FORNICATION, and stoned to death!!!!

This is the Islamic law. Women have NO rights. Their Prophet was marrried with a 12 year old!!! Yes you might say that is acceptable for their culture to married young girls at the age of 12, but still is paidophilia...

The JW's and Muslims have a lot in common. They are cutls and in the early stages of the Muslim religion they were considered by the Orthodox Church as a Christian Cult...Even WT states that they cannot stone the apostates or those who commited serious sins, like ancient Israel!!!! So if they could they would stone us....

It is about time for the West to awake up and stop doing all this mistakes that will lead more spreading to the Muslims.
