Farewell from Confused and Alone
by confusedandalone ini use to hate when people who made goodbye posts on message boards.
why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.
this place is definitely different.

Thank you for this forum! Without it I couldn't sit through the meetings!
by stuckinarut2 inthe only way i can sit through the meetings is due to having my tablet and connection to this forum!.
since awakening, i can't believe how much i cringe each and every meeting when i hear all the propaganda and garbage spewed out from the bible and the society!.
i only cope by venting on here.. (plus it is so easy when sitting at the back of the hall or on the sound control box... hahaha).

Expect more Crazy as JW.ORG trims the fat and fills the coffers.
by donuthole inwhen rutherford assumed the presidency of the watchtower society he instituted series of sweeping changes to the teachings and practices of the bible students.
some of these changes were at complete odds with what had been taught previously.
a key example was the elevation of the watchtower society as "god's visible organization on earth".

0-40years old. April 12, 2006 was my 20th wedding anniversary. My husband was on the stage giving the Memorial talk. I left before the concluding prayer. The marriage and the religion were over that night with one swift, clean rip of the bandage
thats a very interesting post--magwich--would you care to share more of your story ?
