I dont think the WT or any religion is gonna lose their tax exemptions anytime soon. Since they use the bible to justify their stance (along with jayhobo) and they 'have his backing' they use this to justify why they shouldnt pay taxes, along with saying their doing 'gods work.'

I hope I'll be around when legalistic religions finally does get taxed. That will be the happiest day of my life!!!!!!!!

...well, kinda.. undercover apostate going to new york bethel for one week to just observe, but going veeeeerrry undercover.

the (perverted) elder hosting the trip doesnt know that i'm an apostate, and the whole trip is gonna be a big front, but its still gonna be fun to just get away from milwaukee.

Look forward to meeting some of you guys that post on here. Were going to Patterson, Walkill, and then Brooklyn on Wednesday. I'm gonna keep a diary on the whole trip, and I'll post it as soon as I'm done.

have you come to grips with the reality of dieing and ending it all, for many it was an unfathomable reality especially with the idea that many now living will never die.. but have you made peace with death?, have you resolved in your mind that death is not a painful reality and it is unfair to cheat it..

I'm starting to make peace with it. Its tough. But believeing in a paradise is even scarier then facing death, especially a paradise thats never gonna come :(

What if Christainty is right?

i was just wondering, what if afterall, christainity is right, what if there would be a ressurection, what if the heavenly hope is a valid aspiration god has set in place for faithful servants, what would be the hope of about 1.3million apostate dissidents who turned their back on the jw brand of christainity, where would they be?, some here seems to represent the anti-christ depicted in the bible, but what would be their hope, would god out of his abundant mercy shield us somehow and what would be the rationale behind his protection?.

life as we presently live it is confusing, the future as perceived is unpredictable, we may think our corpses are deemed to serve as manure, but whereas what if there is really life after death.

how would god judge those who seem to have spat on his face?, would he view us as mere victims of abundant hypocrisy in a confused world?.
