well, i walked in and got the love-bombing before i even made it past the foyer.

everyone's missed me, everyone's thrilled that i came, blah, blah, blah.

to be fair though, there were a few there that i do miss so it was nice to see them.

I also went to the memorial, very nutty like always as Mary said.. The speaker didn't go into the Genesis at all, and genuinely tried to focus on Jesus with the subpar outline dropped from "above" He just went over the usual "Who Partake?" which took a good 10-15 minutes.. I was biting my tongue throughout.. Once the the emblems were passed (They cheaped out this year, the bread looked much more like Saltines) They invited everyone to the Special talk and of course, plugged in "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" and to run to your nearest brother to start a study

this morning on the radio a member of the communist organization of the usa was being interviewed , and as a tie in to commercials the station was using.

a song that sounded very familiar/.

it was bothering me for several hours until i thought that an old song sung at the kh was very familiar.. it went something like " our god jehovah, almighty in battle" (that's all i remember).. what do you think ?

i might be rambling on.... i attended the meeting tonight.

i'm not sure how it is in other halls.

there are about 120 publishers in our hall, in the midwest.

@Gayle: The simple English version is for other English speaking congregations in other countries (many that have their own dialects and arent familiar with words used in the states and other mainstream countries)

today, there's a lot of awesome xjw's with youtube channels and websites, and discussion boards, dedicated to helping others successfully get free from the cult of the publishing corporation.

these folks have done wonderful work and make up a vast apostate army to take on the wts and their lies, and, they do so with integrity, and respect for truth.

if you are going to point your finger and call the wtbts liars, if you are going to put yourself on the line and take up the mantle of exposing those lies, and offer criticism, you should do so from the moral high ground of integrity and truthfulness.. .

Extra: Did you get hounded to turn your report in, did an elder call your home asking you for your time?
