today my mom called me three times at work to tell me how "worried" she was about my spirituality.. i so wanted to tell her some ttatt but just said, "mom, i am fine spiritually.

if i am ever in trouble spiritually, i will tell you.

meanwhile, i would really appreciate it if you left my relationship with god a private matter.".

were you a born in or a convert?.

neither, my mother became a jw when i was 7, she was a single parent by this time having divorced my father.. are your parents / family jws?.

The Gall & Hypocrisy!!

just got a call from my daughter that she got word that the jw honeywagon (literature stand) has set up in the university she teaches at.

one (and there are many) of the reasons we left was due to the stance on higher education, she was persecuted by the elders for attending the very university they are now set up in.

my daughter eventually got a masters degree overseas and now teaches at the same unversity, is self sufficent and will not have to eke out some pittance of a living while fighting a very delbilitating health condition.

Do You Consider Yourself An "Apostate"?

i don't.. i consider myself a truth teller.. the watchtower society appears to be more "apostate" than even "christendom"..

The word apostate was associated with the phrase..

EVIL SLAVE .

Such a dark scary connotation has been attributed to

the word, that it can really ring a loud bell for a jw!

I am not an apostate ... everything I was taught by

the witlesses has proved to be wrong ... not my fault...

they 'moved the goal post' not me!

I am instead a smart goat who got the hell out!

The real reason the WBATS don't want you in college!!!

the wbats have ramped up no college for jws once again.

the first time they backed off of it is because they noticed a person flipping hamburgers or cleaning toilets are not able to donate much money... so the wtbats says lets allow them to at least get a 2 year degree, then they can donate a little more... this goes on for awhile, but then the wbats notice that many who go to college are leaving...

well because they gain knowledge and distance themselves from the cult and it's ignorance, have access to outside sources, and eventually learn ttatt!!!
