The Apostasy Within

in the latest watchtower (july 15, 2014, page 14, paragraph 10) it says; today, jehovahs people are not often confronted with apostasy within the congregation.

still, when exposed to unscriptural teachings, regardless of the source, we must decisively reject them.. so, not often, but occasionally jws are exposed to apostasy within the congregation, and they are instructed to decisively reject it.

as we all know, the vast majority of the apostasy they are exposed to comes from the governing body.. i am meeting up soon with an old friend from the 1970s who i havent seen for decades, who is still an active jw, and who would really like to hear what i think about things.

What it means to be a canadian.

i will never appologize for being a canadian.

my familly has lived here for about 300 years.

we have seen tribulation and tumult ,good times and bad.

Being a Canadian to me means .....I never want to live anywhere

so the latest clip on jw.org for kids is so wrong!.

it is about the "victory song".

lets all sing songs about how vengeful and destructive "our loving god" can be...along with cartoonish pictures...... all rejoice at the death of the evil people who used their "god-given free will", then got punished for doing so!.

funny thing is only my husband's name is on it.

we are both inactive, but the rumors are that i celebrate everything now (i do).

Studied with JW grandma for 3 years and went to meetings, I have now seen the light!

im new here and im 17, going to turn 18 in 1 week.

i studied with my gradma the bible teach book and went to meeting with her and other relatives (considering most my relatives are jw except my parents) and i believe in all of it because i never read the bible for myself.

after reading the gospels i started noticing contradictions in the jw doctrine like when jesus said many would dine with the patriachs in the kingdom of heaven (yet only 144,000 jws can) which would seem odd considering the fact he adressed this to more then the apostles.

Last Friday I brought home 6 Peepers

they are so cute in their cage with the red heat lamp warming them.

there are eggs in our future.

coop is built all i need to do now is put the fence in.

Hi Totally.......omg that sounds like heaven!

More of us need to grow our own food, makes

you healthy to be outside to feed the chickens &

collect the eggs, digging & weeding a garden gives

a good appetite as well as fresh "organic" food!

I would do it again in a NY minute...given the chance!

I made my daughters cry last night.....

...when i told them i didn't believe anymore.

they cried like i'd never seen before.

my oldest, 10, pleaded with me that she'd do anything to get me to keep going to meetings ("i'll get a's on my report card!").

and then wash it down with water! hahah it just hit my

funny bone that's all!

I never had those problems, & was so glad cause my

job was really difficult & worked with mostly men at the time!

The only thing that I gave credit to, was vitamin E & calcium.
