this is it. i had enough

i feel like not being part of anything since god knows when.

i ve tryed, but to make a long story short: i don t fit in to anything.. i can t get out of these bleeding depressions.

so i ll go out tonight for the last time in my life and take an overdose at the end.. its been nice meeting you all.

Varian please stop - I felt like giving up years ago and today I am happy I'm still here. Things can improve, please seek help. Or at least let it all out here and let us here try to help . . .

Mother-in-law sending me dvd...need input

my mother-in-law called me today and said that she is sending us a dvd that came out at summer convention about the history of the organization and why it is "being used by jehovah".

she asked if we would watch it cause she knows that we don't think wts is being used by god.

i told her that we would watch it and send back to her.

And there's at least one incredibly misleading statement that should raise a few eyebrows amongst seasoned dubs: The claim that the "Bible Students" were coming to "the realization that Jesus returned invisibly in 1914".

This lie stands out to anyone who has the WT CD-Rom library.

They believed Jesus came in 1874, they believed this until 'New Light' was printed in 1943 (29 years later) in the book 'the truth shall make you free'.

Open the WT CD-Rom & go to the book 'God's Kingdom has approached' (ka), page 209 and read all of paragraph 55.

It proves it so clearly!

Then after they see that, simply ask: "Why are they still lying to us?"

frank was concerned that they might be dumping them in the woods or something so he wanted me to check it out.. i had a hard time convincing h and h to let me join them in service, finally i dropped a few hints that i was a pretty laid back brother who didn't always follow wtbts policy......... which wasn't far from the truth.

this guy was hard core.

Looks fake to me the face seems out of place because the light is hitting his face from the right while the rest of the photo looks like it was lit from the front.

as serious students of the holy scriptures, we all know what a great role the history of korea has played in the outworking of the divine purpose.. (you realize i'm pulling your leg, right?

tell me when to stop...).

this being the obvious and incontrovertible truthtm, we can expect that in the not-too-distant future the wtb&ts will announce that north korea is the "king of the north" and that kingdom of antarctica is the "king of the south.

Or maybe if the KOTN really is North Korea then the King of the South has to be Australia. At least that would explain Mel Gibson.

Favorite Demon Stories

one of the most fascinating aspects of the jw religion is the profound fear of demons (evil spirits) it engenders in its members.

i just wondered whether it's something that is used by the leadership as a means of control, or whether it's simply a concept that grew legs and took off on its own?

first, i believe in evil spirits.

An older sister in my KH told me the story of trying to burn her 'old religious icons' when she first learnt the truth and that they wouldn't burn. The demons wouldn't let them, they eventually burnt after many prays to the Watchtower god Jeeboobah.

it's the co's visit this week at "my" hall.

i've been dreading this week and now the nightmare is starting to unfold :s the co just called wanting to know how i'm doing.

his visit was more about "No matter what you do, we are always your parents and we will never stop showing our love for you."

That is awesome!!! How many ex-JWs would love to hear that from their parents. You are fortunate ele_lux.

I bought a wooden carving of an animal while interstate on a trip. The shop sold hand made things from Africa.

It was a gift for a JW friend of mine. When I got home I forgot to give her the gift strait away, I had it for about 2 weeks before I gave it to her.

She was happy with the gift as it was of her favourite animal. After a few weeks she apologized to me for destroying and throwing the gift away. I asked why, she explain that ever since she received it, she didn't feel right and things weren't going smoothly for her, once she got rid of it, her life returned to normal. She said it must of been demonized.

What the hell?!?!? I had it for about 2 weeks with no ill effect.
