I am a big tea drinker. I like mint tea, or regular tea, sometimes a cinnamon tea. But right now I am drinking Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale.

Do you guys turn in time for studying with your kids or informal witnessing? I do think that is strange that you are not bugged for being irregular.
Are things getting better? Hope so!

Comparing the old elder's handbook to the new...
by undercover inas i've read through the new elder's book, something kept nagging at me about it.
then i went to compare one passage in the new book to the old and it hit me.
i've mentioned it on a couple of posts, but i wanted to start a thread on it.... what hit me was that the new book was like an instruction manual to supervisors in a plant.

I agree. There was very little about being loving and sheparding. It concentrated on regulation and establishing guilt!

Elders Wives/kids
by exwhyzee inhow many elders wives or kids have looked at the congregation files without their husband/father knowing about it?
anyone here have any knowledge of this.
how foolish anyone is to go to these people if they keep a written record/file on you.

I do know of an incident where the records were stolen from a local KH. I believe they were returned after some time anonymously.
The questions they ask are so invasive. I am sure they are aroused when talking to people about their sexual escapades.
Magwitch, I am LOL right now!! Brodan, I cannot believe you didnt get in trouble for some hanky panky with a married woman!! You little devil you!

Good to hear you are hanging in there. We also went to marriage counseling. It seems impossible to not bring religion into it. It was majorly involved in our discussions.
This is good news because the counselor will give really good advice and say things in a way that you or I could never. I would tell the counselor your deal with your wife. See what they say. Your wife will see that the counselor is neutral. I do not think it is fair to try and find a counselor that is already on your side, it won't work. Just remember to be your authentic self.

by behemot ina jehovahs witness who was desperate to save his marriage has been ordered not to contact his ex-wife after admitting harassment.. james andrew jarrold felt anger and grief about the demise of his relationship, and had a real reluctance about divorce, york crown court was told.. jarrold pleaded guilty to a charge of harassing his former wife, marie jarrold.. chris smith, mitigating, said the 35-year-old, of myrtle avenue, in brayton, had acted during the break up of his marriage when he was desperate to keep any last vestige of hope.. the court heard that between may 2009 and january 2010, jarrold plagued her with phone calls and text messages, contacting her numerous times each day, despite being told she did not want to speak to him.. one of the messages he left read: i hope god curses you with misery.. when she told him to stop contacting her by phone he began sending letters.. rob galley, prosecuting, said the messages and letters were not threatening but the overall picture was a campaign of attrition.. recorder colin burn sentenced jarrold to a two-year community order which will include supervision from the probation service.

This is about power. Your wife's reaction is indicitive that she knows how much you love her. She knows you adore her. She is using those truths, to get HER WAY, you restoring her status quo--you going back to KH. She has some kind of resentment towards you, she is punishing you.
My advice would be to stop begging. Take some of the power away. She will retreat. #1, once she realizes that it is illegal to take the kids from you, that would be kidnapping if you file a seperation. Get a parental cooperation order in place right away. My guess is that she will be back home very fast.
No friend wants a grown woman and two needy kids (cute I am sure, but kids are kids...) living at her house. Does your wife have skills, a job?
I would go on your computer and try and see what she is looking at online. Just saying...do some investigative research. Check her phone and text messages.
I am so sorry you are hurting. My heart breaks for you. This is temporary pain and is horrible I am sure, but it will get better. She cannot keep this up without softening at some point.
Why is she out of love??? Has she withdrawn, do you really believe that?
She is being a martyr right now, this will wear off. Hang in there, be strong, and take away some of the power.
